Great, but begs the question (that I asked multiple times), why was more support for two first time play callers not addressed in the offseason?
This staff has a tendency to try to fix things with bandaids AFTER disaster has struck. That has to change.
The #Commanders have hired Steve Wilks to work with the defensive coaches under Dan Quinn and Daronte Jones, per me and @RapSheet. The decision to hire Wilks was made last month. He started last week.
Wilks will help with game planning. He won't be with the team on game days.

I said it from the moment Kliff and Brian Johnson left that they didn’t get Blough enough staff support for the season.
Yes, he has Anthony Lynn but that’s just one guy who has called offensive plays. Blough needed a staff of coaches who were there to assist him in any given situation and they failed to provide that for him. Rarely do I see him collaborating on the sideline, always seems to be flying solo.
