Well this is definitely a progress , I guess congrats to the team (yeah I am real this time )
The largest math proof in human history is now computer-verified. Today, Axiom announces a complete Lean auto-formalization of the Classification of Finite Simple Groups, the "periodic table of symmetry." About 15,000 pages, built by over 100 mathematicians across generations.

Uttar Pradesh News Dainik Bhaskar Report

We must scoop , we will scoop(iykyk)
As was well-known, and circulated a number of times even on here, Ethan Sussman has been writing up existence of YM4 publicly via Balaban’s approach, and has posted existence of QED3 and YM3 and an old preliminary outline of YM4 on his repo, working with countless community members in understanding the arguments. I kept telling him to not be too deferential and modest because he would be publicly scooped at any opportunity. Instead of contacting him to work with him, as has been suggested publicly many times, the people at OpenAI chose to do this. “Our work builds on Balaban’s approach in constructive quantum field theory. As a subproblem, this work also includes a proof of the existence of pure Yang–Mills theory, which is part of the Quantum Yang Mills Theory Clay Mathematics Institute Millennium Prize problem.”

Some retard in mathathon should go for poincare without ricci flow , let's see what happens
Word on the street is that OpenAI gave a 25 page proof of Sogge's local smoothing conjecture which implies Bochner-Riesz conjecture which implies Fourier restriction conjecture which implies Kakeya maximal function conjecture which implies Kakeya (aka Besicovitch) conjecture, and it completely bypasses last two decades of painstaking progress in harmonic analysis just by doing elliptic PDEs and nukes the entire Kakeya pipeline from the orbit. I don't know any of this beyond superificial word of mouth, but I'm just putting this out there to say that maybe someone should check on Terry Tao.

Why this company is valued so much ?? Any mutual care to answer
we raised $10M to take Matiks from India to the world 🧠🌍 not long ago, it was just a few of us who believed mind sports could go mainstream. most people called it niche. last month, 2.2M people played 48M brain games on Matiks. they could’ve kept scrolling, and they didn’t. our longest streak has crossed 689 days. players run google meets to coach each other. one called us “the cure to my doomscrolling” and we still aren’t over it. huge welcome to General Catalyst and Unilazer Ventures, and thank you Info Edge Ventures, Tanglin Venture Partners and Untitled Ventures for backing us again. what’s next: → taking Matiks to the US → more games across math, memory, logic and puzzles → an AI engine so anyone can build a brain game millions can play to Sudhanshu, Sushant, Mohan and the whole Matiks team: you took a simple idea and made millions fall in love with using their brains. to our players: none of this exists without you. this one’s for you ❤️

OpenAI has proven P = NP, but they refuse to release it as part of their math dump (observe the skipped numbers in their results). The tractable provably efficient algorithm for formal proof search would be devastating to their current marketing campaign as proof search provider.

I have a frnd in OpenAI, I think he mentioned it’s been a year since he wrote code. Codex does everything, they just steer things, no hard problem solving, no deep thought for most employees. Maybe some core researchers still have that privilege but most engg are PMs now

AI is an abomination built on stealing IP & the hard work of talented humans. And everything it creates is essentially shit, save for complete basic stuff like codechurn (which it raids Stack Overflow for).
AI is one of the best things to ever happen to artists, tinkerers, and builders. For the first time, imagination is becoming the bottleneck. Not money. Not technical skill. Not access to a studio or a team. If you can imagine it, you’re increasingly able to build it. If you’re against that, I just assume you’re an imbecile. Which is fine.

The sea in the central Pacific has crossed 30°C for the first time in recorded historyEl Niño is still getting stronger. The World Meteorological Organization expects the sea there to be about 3.7°C above normal between October and December. The highest so far was 2.6°C in 2015-16. This time the effects may last into early 2027 #India must take note Our monsoon this year ended 13% below normal and South Asia is likely to stay warmer than normal in the coming months. El Niño alone does not decide our weather but our farmers and our water supply will feel it What worries me is that the new phenomenon of rapidly changing weather pattern doesn’t augur well for us. We must watch rainfall closely, manage our water better and help farmers move to crops which can survive this. Preparing early will always cost us less than handling a crisis later #ElNino #ClimateResilience #India

1 FIR and Ghee Khatam for civilizational Dharma Yodha lol.
I have a stable job and a family, and I am just 23, I don't want some twitter bullshit to damage any of that, freedom of speech is a joke in this country and I don't have any political connections that can save me in times of crisis like this one,,,,, I messaged a lot of my friends that I have made here on twitter, when I came to know about that FIR, and I can't Thank them enough, they have helped me a lot, although I don't know if that FIR Will Be Quashed Or Not, I am no longer in Fear, Whatever Happens, Happens, All Things Happen For Good, I panicked when I first saw that Email, Just Because I Don't Have Any Experience In Law ( although I will read more and more about it from now On).

I can't just express today how emotional I am with this MacBook purchase as well, right? I'll just tell you: two years ago I had asked for ₹7 from my girlfriend to have one cup of tea. That was my financial scenario two years back. I just woke up and did shit every day. I still do shit every day and it just means so much that today I can go into a shop and buy this. I just cannot express in words how much this means to me as well because it's so... you feel proud of yourself. Like from having ₹10 in your bank account to working hard every single day, showing up every day, and doing everything possible in your things. If, through multiple rejections from multiple companies, you still show up every day and do get this done, that just feels so good at this point: I'm getting some kind of fruits, some kind of rewards from all the hard work I have done. I just want to say that it is possible to work hard enough.

Retarded pov , they already use lean during training
Wonderful post. You should read the whole thing, but especially this part. The fact that the recent gains in AI math capability seem to be mostly driven by non-formalized reasoning, rather than using something like Lean, was a major update to my worldview

Wake up. Every profession deemed white-collar, the middle class dream, is about to be decimated by AI, at a much faster pace than anticipated, with monstrous social consequences.
