Oh please. Trump made the decision and is looking for at least 1 scapegoat. He said he knows more than the generals. I also don't get why the people around him don't know that loyalty is a one way street.

Does he even need advisors anymore? He’s about to lose the midterms, has only 2 years left, and blames Iran for the loss. If he hadn’t started the war, gas prices wouldn't have spiked—and those prices will ultimately decide this election. #Midterms2026 #Trump #Iran
If he loses the midterms tomorrow, will he stop being nice to Iran? That's what his words imply—Vietnam and stupid presidents. #Midterms2026 #Trump #Iran #USPolitics #BreakingNews

This is a must-read, from a man who defected from the Communist bloc to the USA 40 years ago. "What worries me the most is not Trump himself or those who do his bidding, but rather the willingness of so many ordinary citizens to look away." theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/1…

Bobby Charles comes across much of the time as a highly critical candidate for mayor of Lewiston, a city he basically trashes at every opportunity. I prefer mayors who love their cities and governors who love their states.
Lewiston. We can fix what’s broken here. We can cleanup this town. We can end the crime. We can end the fraud. We can stop the influx of illegal immigration. Vote!

Giorgia Meloni: "I’m fully aware that our support for Ukraine may come at a political cost...but I HAVE NO INTENTION TO Change My Position... I support Ukraine not simply for the sake of Ukrainians. I do it for Italy... If we had allowed Ukraine to be easily conquered, could we really be certain that Moscow would stop there rather than pushing further, as has indeed happened in the past? …The heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people, with the vital support of the West, has, I believe, demonstrated even to the sceptics that there is a people, a history, an identity that refuse to be destroyed. I would call that patriotism." 🇺🇦🇮🇹

History will remember that when voting rights were on the line in 2026, Paul Weiss and other law firms hid under the bed.
NEW: With midterm legal fights with Trump already underway, capitulating firms — including Paul Weiss, which had trumpeted it’s storied voting rights history — have chosen to sit on the sidelines and are not involved in major voting/election litigation.

Absolutely disgusting.   For more than 280 days a year, Trump’s illegal Arch is supposed to cast a shadow on more than 75,000 graves of fallen heroes. Even the eternal flame would be cloaked in darkness.   No one, and I mean no one, should be building a monument for themselves at Arlington, because there is no place in America less suited to a show of one man’s ego.   Those buried at Arlington didn’t give their lives so one small man could build a gaudy monument to himself at their gates. They gave their lives in the name of something so much bigger: a democracy, a nation, worth protecting even at the absolute greatest of personal costs.   It’s an abhorrent desecration of our most hallowed ground, and it must be stopped. That’s the end of it. washingtonpost.com/investiga…

We have a loved one scheduled to be on this flight. He will be killed if he’s returned to the Taliban. He supported the US mission in Afghanistan. He has broken no laws. He came here legally. Seeking asylum should not be a death sentence.
Breaking News: The Trump administration has detained dozens of Afghan immigrants in Louisiana — including relatives of those who helped the U.S. military — and plans to deport them to Afghanistan, according to U.S. officials. nyti.ms/4jPVvrw
