Some thoughts on Juventus, following yet another disastrous defeat against a—with all due respect—mediocre team: - We can’t keep changing coaches. No one who has sat on the bench since Pirlo has performed any better than he did; he was the last one to win two trophies. - We’ve already gone through three different management teams in three years. Nothing has changed. - On the pitch, the players don’t know what to do and end up getting in each other’s way. - It’s not a question of whether we have the "right" players; it has been clearly demonstrated that they often perform better once they leave. Honestly, I’ve lost the desire to spend my time watching a team that lacks motivation, has forgotten how to play football, and, most of the time, seems to have no idea what it’s doing. I’d like to explore this with you: is the problem with the ownership? I don’t think so—there has never been a lack of funds. Is it a management issue? They’ve been in place since June—could we have asked for anything better? Are we certain that changing the coach will make a difference? And why specifically Conte? The quick fix would be to part ways with Spalletti. But looking at all the factors currently in play, there’s no indication that things will improve in the short term. I am tired man.
