"You could say Kenshiro was a Super Saiyan before Super Saiyans were even a thing."
Back when Hokuto no Ken first started, Kenshiroโs hair wasnโt spiky like it is now. He just wore it down normally, partly because I've always loved Bruce Lee.
In manga, itโs a classic trope for a character's hair to stand on end when they get angry, and at first, that was how I drew Kenshiro; his hair only spiked up when he snapped.
But as I kept drawing him, his hairstyle gradually evolved, and before I knew it, he was walking around with that slicked-back, spiky look all the time, just like a Super Saiyan. The funny thing is, Kenshiroโs spiky hair came long before Super Saiyans were even a thing in Dragon Ball (laughs).
In the end, though, it became one of his trademarks, so I guess it all worked out for the best.

Fist Of The North Star 2026 is ALMOST the perfect reboot. Here's my 31 minute review of the anime. I might change the thumbnail but I thought simplest was best.

43 years old today & most people still haven't read Fist Of The North Star.๐ซค It's one of the fastest & beautifully drawn Shonen Jump manga you'll ever read. Only 245 chapters long with the longest arc being 50chs. It's a favorite for many mangaka.

The proof is undeniable now. The leadership at PlayStation is clueless and need to be replaced immediately.
To cancel the spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid, knowing the impact that series (especially the first game on PS1) had on industry and your own brand...truly the most out of touch decision I've seen.
But to then let your once competitor pick it up and do what you refuse to?
Previous PlayStation leadership would have never imagined letting something like this happen.
Please be true
