I just built a new website for our WordPress plugins with AI using Claude Code
Meet TranslateXYZ, a new umbrella brand by Cool Plugins for our WordPress AI translation addons for Polylang, WPML, TranslatePress and Loco Translate.
Check it here and share your feedback:
translatexyz.com/
It took around 2 weeks to build this full production-ready site.
AI handled almost 75%, but the final 25% needed human input, product knowledge, SEO, design sense and hundreds of prompts.

Just 1 week after getting listed in the new #WordPress Featured Plugins section, Ollie Menu Designer by @mikemcalister crossed 2000+ active installs π
It was around 1000 installs before that week.
Really nice move by WordPress to feature smaller but great plugins (under 10K installs) every 2 weeks. This will help many developers.

Story of an outdated #WordPress pluginβ¦
and how weβre trying to bring it back to life π
A few days ago, I acquired an outdated WordPress plugin that once had 50,000+ active installs and was widely used by Elementor lovers to save form submissions in WordPress.
Then in 2021, Elementor Pro added the same feature into its core. So users stopped using it and the original author stopped maintaining it.
For most plugins, thatβs the end.
But we looked deeper π
and found real problems Elementor users still face with form data:
β
Save form submissions to Google Sheets
β
Create posts from form submissions
β
Save Hello Plus form entries in WordPress
So we rebuilt the plugin with a new idea, new features, and new branding.
Rebranded as FormsDB :- It helps Elementor users save form data to Google Sheets or WordPress post types.
Sometimes plugins donβt die.
They just need a new idea β€οΈ

So WP.org plugin pages no more considering the Author and Author URI fields mentioned in a plugin's main file.
Currently, the plugin page on #WordPress plugin directory only shows the primary owner's name with a link to their WP.org profile.
Do you think it is a good change to stop keyword stuffing inside author names?
