Wildfrost is one of the best roguelike deckbuilders if only because you can create than most wildly inventive and satisfying rue goldberg machines

The best way I can condensed pitch Arco is it's a loose spiritual successor to Live a Live, but it pulls its genre influences from mesoamerican cultures instead. Plus it has some really slick music.

To me it's honestly a toss up between the game that made turn-based combat as cinematic as possible, and the game that turn-based combat as elegantly cerebral as possible

There are just some texts that are so horrifyingly gross that any praise should always be met with at least a couple side-eyes. FF16 is one such example. (Im sorry oomfs)

From when Dion joins Clive's party and onwards, there's not single conversation about how Clive was a slave to Dion's empire for 13 years. You could not write a more "no thoughts head empty" protagonist if you tried.

One of Werner Herzog's finest works is his 2011 doc about a death row convict with an undeniable crime, but it later becomes a meditation on the need to move past personal grudges. Not comparing apples to oranges, but just good food for thought nonetheless.

This whole "debate" comes down to whether you (and Poki) simply want punitive judgement or sincerely believe in rehabilitation. If Atrioc isn't the perfect case of someone learning and atoning for their mistakes, no one is.

I think it can be perfectly valid to be petty and grudgy sometimes, but you should always strive to have the eq to recognise when youre being petty af

Pokimane opens up about feeling uncomfortable seeing Atrioc on social media after the deepfake situation years ago "Seeing Atrioc's name and face pop up.. It gives me a lot of discomfort and anxiety.. I don't know the best way to deal with it."

As messed up as the industry is, a reviewer should never have to edit their feelings about a game in case it might hurt sales.

I'm sorry, no. I can't do this. Ralph (Skill Up) did a lot of damage with his review of Dragon Age: The Veilguard (whether he meant to, or not) and I'm still bitter about it.
