Un rappel : le vélo est le mode de transport le plus vendu en France, et de loin. Il rendrait des services à bien plus de monde pour les petits trajets du quotidien si on aménageait des pistes cyclables dignes de ce nom, aussi bien dans les villes qu'en milieu rural

Overall the vast majority of injuries to our riders occur off the bike, which we know because of our near miss and incident reporting - and that's our focus for tackling danger. As @Chris_Boardman says: "Helmets not even in top 10 of things that keep cycling safe"

As regards 1: We know that increasing helmet wearing rates make cycling more dangerous per mile - although there are confounding factors here, this indicates that overall they do not provide a strong protective effect in the round - otherwise the opposite effect.

People still don't get it. -E-bikes are bikes -f you haven't ridden one, you really don't know -They're mostly replacing car trips -They're giving folks access to experiences and places they couldn't get before -They solve traffic, parking and environmental problems -They're fun
