Hey voters: your ballot is in the mail! Look for it soon — and if you're not registered to vote, do it now. This November, it’s #yourchoice, Colorado Springs. Vote YES on 300 & 301. linktr.ee/voteyes300and301
Recreational cannabis is already completely legal in #ColoradoSprings. We simply miss out on the sales tax that comes with each purchase. Let's stop sending our sales tax dollars up and down I-25 and west out 24. yourchoicecos.org/common-sen…

Don't believe the fearmongering from our mayor. The military will not pick up and leave town when we decide to finally allow the sale of recreational cannabis and to benefit from the tax dollars that come with it. airforcetimes.com/news/your-…

We'll be door-knocking in the community every Saturday from now until November in order to educate the community and make sure everyone knows about the tax and societal benefits of legalizing recreational cannabis in #ColoradoSprings. We can't wait to see you all around town.

The City Council and Mayor Suthers haven't wanted to take on this issue but now's the time. This November, we can vote to raise funds for mental health, public safety, and veterans through recreational cannabis sales. Learn more about our initiative at yourchoicecos.org

Not a suggestion. A rule. When passed, our legislation will require all #taxrevenue be directed to mental health, public safety, and #veteran services. #ColoradoSprings #yourchoice

Think #recreationalmarijuana hurts our #homevalues? Think again. CO home values increased $22,090 more in cities with recreational #dispensaries compared to home values in cities where recreational marijuana is legal but dispensaries are not available. *Source: Clever Real Estate

"It’s time to recognize the value these businesses bring; allow them to meet the legitimate and legal demand from consumers in our city; and to build a better #ColoradoSprings by keeping those #taxdollars local." csbj.com/premier/opinion/edi…

Happy Pride Month! It's a great time to stand up and say: each of us in Colorado Springs deserve a safe and welcoming city -- no matter who we love. #PikesPeakPride22

Nearly 20% of adults in El Paso County have a diagnosed depressive disorder. As #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth comes to a close, we can't lose sight of the big picture: we need to increase funding for mental health services in #ColoradoSprings. Our initiative can help.

Curious how much the tax will be for rec #marijuana sales? If passed, our legislation will require a 5% special tax. That revenue will be required to fund public safety programs, mental health services, and post-traumatic stress disorder treatment for #veterans.
"Won’t this initiative just add more marijuana stores in #ColoradoSprings?" The answer is simple: no. If passed, our initiative won’t change the City-assigned number of dispensaries. Only existing medical dispensaries will be allowed to have the option to sell #reccannabis.

We're hoping next year's #420 looks a little different in #ColoradoSprings. Unfortunately, this week, many citizens traveled to surrounding cities to purchase #cannabis products causing CO Springs to lose out on important tax dollars. Sign the petition to change that!
