Newer and better centipede glsl shader with glsl synthesised audio as well. I think this is one of the best shaders I've written. shadertoy.com/view/sfcGzf

Prismatic Clouds 💠 Let’s trap some clouds inside a diffraction-grating glass dodecahedron, in a real-time #glsl shader.

Cloud in 888 characters. I feel like I have joined the dark side with this code golfing business.

This is such a rabbit hole. 🤣 Thanks to @FabriceNEYRET's suggestions I was able to cull a few more characters, then get it back to this, at 918 chars:

Links: shadertoy.com/view/NXKSzR fragcoord.xyz/s/cowuv00b sledit.xyz/#s=n390f9ewt Fragcoord comes out at 930 chars I think because Uniform declarations are included. Sledit is over 1000 chars as it counts indent spaces - I need to fix that 😭

After the cloud prototype I've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole trying to introduce true asymmetry to kaleidoscopic fractals.

For those interested this is the regular KIFS without the asymmetry. Take a simple sdf primitive, fold over axis planes then rotate and translate, keep iterating until you get a complex fractal. @mogmek @viewsfrom02108

Here's a slightly different published version that I tried golfing - best I can do is get it under 1500 chars. shadertoy.com/view/f3tXWl
KIFS fractal worked surprisingly well here, just keep folding space and hiding symmetry until cloud happens.

I really want to find a way to create puffy clouds/smoke. Ideally in 280 chars or less

If you want to impress an interviewer when you get asked a difficult question: Don't lose your cool, if you're a developer, you see problems you don't know the answer to all the time, it's part of the job. There's a good chance they're testing this, and not your knowledge. So be honest, show them how you react to problems you can't solve on the spot. This is who they're going to be working with. I've been offered jobs despite not knowing the answer to a question because I handled it well, in most cases it was a deliberate curveball.
Bro… this is the definition of high iq, he deserves the job, I would be so impressed

So I guess games can just be interactive memes now. Is this where simple vibe coded games are headed?

Clock using rotating point clouds as digits. Check the link in @PI010101's post below to see it in action.

Ever wondered what would happen if you simulated a Z80 processor in WebGPU compute and used cellular automata to generate machine code to run on it? Well, wonder no more: github.com/NeoVand/algocell

It is wonderful how much humanity is learning about math now, I overheard a couple of kids on the bus today talking about the quasi-Riemann hypothesis, and how the Dirichlet L-functions are now known not to have a Siegel zero. Truly enlightened times we live in. Thankyou OpenAI

this dude found out humanity is about to learn everything about math and his response was to cry for his own career?
