Was already considering going to see the Hadestown proshot again later but I’ve had a hell of a morning which is definitely making me want some theatrical escapism 🫣

What happened for Obsession shouldn't be a one-time thing for original movies. GO WATCH WILDWOOD AND SUPPORT ORIGINAL FILMS!!!!

Wildwood blew me awaaaaay. Wow wow wow. The fact that human beings with their human hands made this?? Inconceivable to me. A beautiful story even more beautifully created and crafted. I cannot recommend enough. Just wow!! Long live art

Wildwood should be nominated for Best Picture. Animated or not, it’s an incredible achievement in filmmaking and it deserves to be recognised as such.

Wildwood was honestly incredible, what an epic film!! Breathtaking visuals (made by humans!) and really great characters, with a compelling story that manages to be moving, funny, and surprisingly dark. Definitely up there with my favourites of the year! 👏🏼🌱✨

Got a free matcha from the café at work because I had enough drinks on my card to redeem one, also ended up staying overtime and frustrated to the point of tears because of a difficult customer… the duality of my Friday 🙃

Too many movies coming out on the same weekend. Spread them out! They don't all have to come out in October.

Took some pieces for my costume in to get altered over the weekend which I said I need by Saturday and was told I’d get them in the morning that day at the latest, but I don’t want to be stressed about it so just called to request they be ready for pickup on Friday 😌

the perfect middle ground is hybrid work - 3 days wfh, 2 days wfo. you get social interaction without it being an everyday compulsion

I hate the “WFH is depressing” talk. What’s actually depressing is 2 unpaid hours of commuting every day, getting home already exhausted, and having 4 hours left for cooking, sleeping, and getting ready to do it all again.

Really disheartening, amidst CLAYFACE Embargo-Gate, to see people calling for a journalist's access to be revoked when we should be questioning why the PUBLIC is able to see and ostensibly discuss the movie before the embargo has lifted.

This is so interesting, not an adaptation I ever expected?? I loved the film and am now really curious to see how it would work as a musical!

Going to a friend’s Halloween event tonight which includes a costume contest and my costume is such a casual one (literally a jacket and dress with a t-shirt, haha) but I feel like I should get a prize since I have the actual dress that the character wore on screen 😇

(I’m kind of joking because other people will undoubtedly have cooler costumes but also it’s one of my biggest flexes/favourite things I own and I hope at least someone recognizes it!)
