The Empire State Building climbers are back in court today, and they're now claiming their skyscraper stunt was all about love. "Our performance was not about just 'extreme,' it was about the power of love and peace." Ivan Kuznetsov acknowledged the risk he and Angelina Nikolau took when they scaled the Empire State Building in July outside a Manhattan courthouse while facing charges over their headline-grabbing climb. The pair allegedly scaled restricted areas of the landmark before reaching its 1,454-foot antenna, where they unfurled a banner reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace." Kuznetsov and Nikolau face charges including reckless endangerment, burglary and criminal mischief.
