Watching old Charlie Kirk videos got me thinking about personal responsibility, overcoming hardship, and dangerous message they're sending young people.
We've developed a culture in which expressing the right opinion can earn more approval than actually understanding the subject.

Mary welcomes JB Hixson back to the podcast to talk about common sayings that just don't make the cut of biblical truth. Does God help those who help themselves? Is all truth God's truth? We explore these and more. standupforthetruth.com/2026/… @nbwministries
In 1970, the United States had approximately 100 mosques. By 1994, that number had grown to 962. In 2000, there were 1,209. By 2010, there were 2,106, and by 2020, there were 2,769. Estimates for 2026 put the number near 3,000. Institute for Social Policy and Understanding.
I have been told for years to avoid salt, but the body needs sodium and chloride. Chloride helps your stomach make acid for digestion. The concern is too much sodium, especially for people with certain health issues. Again it's about balance.

I have no idea what his goal is but I saw a young man Facebook shouting that making $100,000 today is the same as making minimum wage in 1971.
The minimum wage in 1971 was $1.60 an hour. full time, $3,300 a year. Adjusted for inflation, that would be about $27,000 today.
For sure inflation has done plenty of damage. Rent, groceries, cars, insurance and health care are eating up a lot more of our take home pay. But the claim that a minimum-wage worker in 1971 had the same buying power as someone making $100,000 today is false. - @crashconnell
