The week of rain finally caught up to us dumping 5" just north of the club last night/ early morning. Totals for the week are right 11" . Unfortunately , the creek is still rising, but confident the team will put it back together.
Proud of the team as they provided a great experience for the members and guests! It come to no surprise as they provide excellent conditions everyday!! Great job @crcc_grounds and staff!!
Its time for a change in the weather pattern!
The weekend looks to bring our next chance for measurable rainfall. This looks to occur Saturday evening and throughout Sunday. This is something we will be watching over the next couple of days and will provide updates as we get closer to Saturday. #iawx #iowaweather
Great par 3 with an outstanding green complex! It ties into the same land formation as #14 green, which was a green from the original 9 back in the early 1900's.
CRCC #12…Par 3. Great hole, only par 3 on the back. When the champ tee’s are back playing to a back pin, yardage is right at 300 yards. Any west or nw wind and its driver on every hole of the back 9. Pretty rare..not sure I’ve played a course where that’s the case.
Nice to see progress on our Racquet/Range and Parking lot project. Fairway Terrace is being poured today!
You know you've been through a renovation when you clean your truck out as the lease is up and you find 3 CAT keys in the console!!
Want to thank @crcc_grounds and his team for having the golf course in excellent shape for the USOpen qualifier today. They were nice enough to let me mow fairways! As you can see, I still have it!
Justis has been a valuable employee of the grounds team and this is a very difficult time for him. Any help is appreciated!
One of our Agronomy team members unexpectedly lost his father this week. His family could use some support and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

Ask many golfers what a course superintendent does, and they’ll cite Carl Spackler of “Caddyshack.” Here’s a more-realistic view. wsj.com/sports/golf/golf-cou… via @WSJ

My daughter moved on to the next chapter in her life!! Her husband is one of the best, and so happy for her!! By the way, they both love golf and are Viking fans!! Love this family!
It was great to host The Golfer's Journal today. It's refreshing to have 110 golfers in from all over the country appreciate a great facility and golf course. Thank you to the staff for providing an excellent experience from the time the guest drove in to the time they left.
