So true!
A lot of bad theology starts with a simple mistake: reading our ideas INTO Scripture instead of drawing God’s meaning OUT of Scripture. That’s the difference between eisegesis and exegesis. The goal isn’t to make the Bible say something relevant to us. The goal is to understand what God actually said, then faithfully apply that truth to our lives today.

Literal meaning and typological meaning are not enemies. When Scripture itself establishes the connection, they reinforce one another. 🎥 Watch the full conversation: CreationToday.org/443 Follow for more conversations about biblical interpretation, theology, and Scripture.

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 THIS is why your beliefs about death before the fall matter.
Can someone believe in millions of years and still be a Christian? Yes. But that does not mean the theological questions disappear. If animal death, disease, suffering, and extinction filled the world for millions of years before Adam sinned, then death becomes part of God's creative process long before the Fall. That raises serious questions. Why does Genesis call the original creation “very good”? What does Scripture mean when it connects sin and death? Why does the Gospel present death as an enemy Christ came to defeat? The age of the earth is not a test of salvation. But our interpretation of Genesis affects how consistently we understand creation, the Fall, sin, death, redemption, and ultimately the character of God. That is why “death before the Fall” matters. 🎥 Watch the full conversation: CreationToday.org/457 Follow for more conversations about Genesis, creation, theology, and biblical worldview.

Death is not a creative force. Scripture calls death an enemy. Jesus did not come merely to help us cope with death. He came to conquer it. 🎥 Watch the full conversation: CreationToday.org/457 🎁 CreationToday.org/Gift

A good story can still carry bad ideas. Enjoy entertainment, but don’t turn off your discernment while you do it.

What does “church” actually mean? The Greek word ekklesia means an assembly or gathered body. That matters because Christianity was never intended to be reduced to an hour inside a building once a week. Our faith shapes how we live as neighbors, citizens, parents, workers, pastors, and members of our communities. That does not mean turning politics into an idol. It does mean rejecting the idea that biblical conviction should disappear the moment we enter the public square. As the midterms approach, Christians should be asking a serious question: How do we faithfully steward the freedoms and influence we have been given without confusing civic engagement with the Gospel itself? 🎥 Watch the full conversation with Pastor Rob McCoy: CreationToday.org/391 Follow for more conversations about liberty, history, faith, culture, and biblical worldview.

Propaganda, social pressure, ideology, and technology all compete to shape what people believe. Christians need more than reactions to headlines. We need discernment rooted in truth.

Math doesn’t change with popular opinion. The Pythagorean theorem was true before Pythagoras wrote it down and would still be true if no one believed it. Truth exists independently of us, and that makes sense in a universe created by an unchanging God.

Social justice sounds noble, but when justice is detached from God’s standard, it becomes whatever the culture decides it should be. Biblical justice starts with truth, righteousness, and the equal value of every person made in the image of God.

What happens when archaeology “disproves” the Bible… until the evidence is discovered later? History has more than one example. That’s why “we haven’t found it” is not the same thing as “it never existed.” Read the article: creationtoday.org/archaeolog…

Disagreement never cancels dignity. The person on the other side of the conversation is still made in the image of God. That should shape our tone, our words, and even the way we correct what is false. Speak truth clearly. But remember who you’re speaking to.

You probably don’t sit down to watch a movie thinking, “Teach me what to believe.” But stories still communicate ideas about God, morality, humanity, truth, heroes, villains, and what makes life meaningful. The question is: Are we noticing? 📺 CreationToday.org/LIVE
