CRIS' Victims of Crime Assistance (VOCA) program advocates for equal access to the justice system and works locally with survivors.
At the moment, many of our clients face immense wait times due to multi-year backlogs in accessing options like U-Visas, which were established by the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act in 2000.
