Anyone jailbreaking Facebook Portal or Alexa devices with this trick?
Everyone who owns hardware with abominable software (like Sonos players) owes a debt of gratitude to Venkatraman Srinivasan and the rest of the eMudhra gang in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Without their gross negligence, it'd be a lot harder to counterfeit certificates and fix the sw🙏

I'll be the first to admit I'm mediocre at exploit development, but I am in contact with enough extremely talented exploit developers to say this for certain: Anyone claiming they were "easily" able to generate a working php2shell exploit with AI is either: a) a world-class exploit developer with an extreme case of imposter syndrome. b) currently looking at some very confident-sounding but wrong LLM output. I'm rather certain it's the latter based on the number of AI-hallucinated exploits I've seen posted on GitHub. Threat actors are also blasting my honeypot network with "php2shell" exploits that not only don't work, but aren't even within 10,000 miles of anything to do with how the exploit actually works. I've seen the same technique from the attached image in multiple alleged "php2shell exploits", including one on GitHub with over 100 stars. Problem is, it's not php2shell, nor is it even a vulnerability at all. It's a technique known as "session poisoning", which can be leveraged to exploit local file inclusion (LFI) vulnerabilities in PHP apps (not PHP itself). The only thing it has in common with CVE-2026-109618/CVE-2026-109619 is they both use the "PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" feature. And mitigation advice for both issues reference setting "session.upload_progress.enabled" to "Off". People are shoving loose details of the vulnerability into LLMs, the LLMs are keying in on the "PHP_SESSION_UPLOAD_PROGRESS" string, then generating session poisoning code that has nothing to do with the actual CVE. And because the people doing this have absolutely no idea what they're doing, they're confident enough to post their "proof of concept exploit" to GitHub and share it on social media. So if you see people talking about "session poisoning + LFI" it's likely their LLM hallucinated an exploit based on a 2018 blog by Orange Tsai talking about a local file inclusion attack vector. What's even worse is that "security researchers" are then using LLMs to triage these exploitation attempts, falling victim to the same hallucinations, then confirming there is ongoing mass-exploitation (there currently isn't). The actual real exploit is very difficult to exploit, and so far I've not seen anyone successfully get it working on more than a handful of PHP version with highly-specific configurations. LLMs are useful tools in the hands of skilled professionals, but for others, they're often just a Dunning-Kruger accelerator.

Italy is in 2030 already... godspeed 🫠😭😭

I'm crypto-old enough to see the Mt. Gox founder pull the ultimate redemption arc from top villain to community hero. Is this bullish or bearish? SBF redemption next?
I have confirmed too from pictures sent to me by affected users. If you are one of the affected users and willing to donate your device to science, please DM me. xitter.cf/Ledger_Support/status/…

Skipping t2049 after a while. I was expecting to FOMO at home, i doubled down on grinding instead and looking from the outside i don't understand this industry anymore... Crypto never been 'institutionally serious', meme is the underlying culture, but a crowd standing up for eric trump, 'live ads billboard', branded pack of cigs, f1 pilots on stage, chains announcing graceful shutdown.. nothing to fomo for. So far, happy for my decision.
Anddd the wait is over The dress is here, if you are at the event Come let’s click some pictures and record some videos together🤌 Thanks to all these brands for believing in me, it could not have been possible without you - @variational_io - @bagel_win - @usetiptop - @CCTradeTerminal - @CPOfficialtx - @ZVZZT_QQQ - @ImmortalXelf - @froglabsio - @0xhypebae - @rivcapitalgroup and everyone who supported me, hated me, believed in me, appreciated me I love you all❤️

DeFi will win... just not in Europe. Just like AI, Robotics, EV, defence and anything else that is not platic bottle caps and USBC...
Disappointed by the European Central Bank’s (ECB) and European Banking Authority’s (EBA) responses to the MiCA consultation. They are not only advocating for a prohibition on paying yield on stablecoins, but also for restrictions on CASPs providing access to DeFi, including protocols offering yield on non-MiCA-authorized stablecoins, without providing a clear framework for how access to DeFi should work in practice. They also suggest that CASPs offering access to DeFi should restrict it to certain groups of users through so-called “suitability tests,” alongside a potential certification regime for DeFi lending protocols. It is unclear how these requirements would work in practice. If regulators determine which protocols are deemed suitable for European users, the result risks looking very different from the open DeFi that exists today. Instead, we could end up with more walled gardens that undermine the liquidity and network effects of open financial networks, ultimately limiting Europeans’ ability to access new ways to grow and preserve wealth. These proposals are presented as measures to “protect consumers.” But excessive restrictions can instead create more friction for innovation and slow the development of open, transparent, and auditable financial infrastructure that can benefit consumers. The reality is that onchain finance, including stablecoins, DeFi, and tokenized securities, has the potential to reshape financial infrastructure by reducing friction, increasing transparency, and expanding access to financial opportunities. European consumers and businesses stand to benefit significantly from this transformation, particularly if the companies building this infrastructure can continue to build and compete from within Europe. Meanwhile, U.S. regulators, including the SEC and CFTC, have increasingly taken a more pragmatic approach toward enabling onchain financial innovation. European regulators should put users and their interests at the center of the framework. Banks and other incumbents should be able to adapt their businesses to serve users in an increasingly onchain economy, rather than relying on artificial restrictions that risk increasing costs and reducing access for Europeans as the rest of the world moves onchain. DeFi will win.

Back in 2021 I co-founded ApeSwap and built the first version of @ApeBond's bond protocol from the ground up. Since then DeFi has been my passion and my bread and butter, including building up @LynexFi and working with several chains and ecosystem. Now I've launched something new on Robinhood Chain: @StonkPress. Here's what it is, why I built it, what can go wrong, and what can go right. SPY is the world's benchmark asset, and Robinhood put it on-chain. But its liquidity is nowhere near where it should be. StonkPress exists to make SPY liquidity stay. I believe the protocol that owns the biggest SPY LP will own the center of gravity. That's what we're building. The idea is simple. PAPER targets 1/10,000 SPY. Provide SPY liquidity and you earn PAPER. Above target, the press prints. Below it, the Ink Reserve buys. Liquidity bonds fund the Ink Reserve. You trade PAPER/SPY LP for PAPER at a discount, vested over 3 or 5 days, and the reserve keeps the liquidity. Bonds are open now. Genesis runs seven days, once. Today at 16:00 UTC the SPY, WETH and USDG pools open, and you don't need to LP to join. What can go wrong: it's experimental. PAPER could trade below target for a long time, and a bond's value can fall while it vests. What can go right: SPY on-chain finally gets a market that stays, built in the open. I'll post our numbers every day of genesis, good days and bad. DYOR before anything else. Links in the first reply. Not affiliated with Robinhood. Not financial advice.

🇪🇺JUST IN: EU banking regulator wants DeFi lending protocols CERTIFIED and crypto lending brought under MiCA. The European Banking Authority says crypto lending is already active in at least 16 EU countries, with licensed platforms and AI tools making DeFi easier to access through licensed platforms. It proposes suitability tests, leverage limits and extra risk warnings for users. It also floats banning licensed firms from offering lending involving stablecoins that lack MiCA approval. The recommendations are advice to the Commission's MiCA review and don't change any rules yet.

I got my answer. TL/DR i'm gonna use Jev for quick prototypes and to set the baseline for my projects. Then give it a try optimizing Gliner to outperform Jev's baseline, specially if latency or privacy matters for the use case. If Jev could be run onprem i would opt for it. Long form: Gliner can actually be much better than Jev for many dimensions but only after a deep configuration and tuning spike. Out of the box Jev performs much better in a much easier setup. My use case is running with Gliner (2.5-multi-1) now with astonishing results: 60ms average results vs 400ms average from Jev, 89% correct coverage vs 77% from Jev, 7% drop rate vs 23% from Jev. The fact is that Gliner cannot interpret or inference the meaning, it works great when the question includes the label word by word (more words exponentially grow the confidence), while Jev add the intelligence part which gains a lot of points for quick setups. I briefly tested Leya too, better than Gliner out of the box, worse than Jev, but still not as good as the optimized Gliner.
my swarm telling me fastino/gliner2.5-multi-v1 is the best candidate for the 'open-jev' label. going to spend the weekend testing both in parallel discarded all AR-based clones (qwen-similar with softmax logit trick). just not comparable.

I hope (but i doubt) the OZ team will be able to bring their integrity into a corrupt industry. In all cases this signal is huge for crypto. more than Clarity ACT.
Today we are announcing that S&P Global has entered an agreement to acquire OpenZeppelin. Onchain finance is growing from an emerging market into core financial infrastructure, and the standards and rails our team and community built are becoming the rails of global finance. OpenZeppelin smart contracts facilitated over $37 trillion in value transferred, with the vast majority of the largest DeFi protocols, blockchain networks, stablecoins and tokenized funds relying on them. With S&P Global, we expect to accelerate the impact of onchain finance, backed by more than a century of trust in global markets, benchmarks, and risk frameworks. To our clients and to all the users of OpenZeppelin open source tools: • OpenZeppelin Contracts and all our open source applications and tools remain open source, free, and publicly maintained on GitHub. Building open source standards stays a core priority. • Audits, engineering work, and ecosystem programs continue with the same team, brand, quality, and customer experience, with what will be the added benefit of S&P Global's research capacity, market data, and institutional reach. For the last decade, OpenZeppelin has set the security standard for onchain finance. Today begins a new chapter for that mission, together with one of the most trusted names in global markets.
