Exciting news for the Narita Group, who will receive £1.2 million over 3 years from the MRC to support their research into cell senescence.
The grant supports UK Japan research collaboration; the lab will work closely with Kyushu University and the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
ALT Narita Group awarded £1.2 million UK Japan Engineering Biology for Novel Therapies and Diagnostics Research Collaboration 2024 grant. Prof Masashi Narita and Dr Ioana Olan are bringing forward a project titled "Creating anti-senescence cell fate by engineering the chromatin landscape" in collaboration with Kyushu University and Tokyo Institute of Technology.
