yeah but he problem is that there's no reason to wait so long to fire said guns
Deltarune is just withholding information for the sake of withholding it, many events conveniently play out that doesn't reveal anything without successfully justifying why it couldn't be otherwise
I'm just gonna add this here to address whole "That's just what normal stories do!" arguments.
---
There's usually arcs and set-up that get presented and directly engaged/payed off through the story, usually being able to stand on its own terms and not even needed to be presented as mysterious.
And the massive payoffs around the later are usually mentally to recontextualized what was already sufficiently experienced and known rather just starting to lighty tap into certain things that's been held off for hours.
The problem is that Deltarune doesn't have sufficient enough scenarios to stand on its one terms for so much of the game, so the point when lack of information is built into the core of Deltarune. At this point, it effectively neutered any character from "justifying" any agency to even ask questions. It usually does much of nothing with the concept of withholding information Itself.
Which is usually what most other stories do revolving around mysteries and lack of information.
Undertale was able to do just fine because it sufficiently supplemented the journey itself with so much more information and isolated experiences that stand on their own terms without needing future information, and have immediate significance within their own contexts.
The later info drop in New Home serves as the perfect recontextualization- it was neither expected nor needed, but it enhanced your understanding of what was already established, and this fact was used directly after, with you literally facing off against Asgore with this new information.
Also, Deltarune doing this partly from the perspective of some people does not count, in case someone wants to say that Deltarune also does this. The point is that Deltarune disproportionately relies on set-up and not enough on individualizing the moment-to-moment micro set-ups and payoffs in arcs and scenarios within their own isolated context, which is not done in a vacuum, unlike most gags in the Dark Worlds. That's really all.
doing the 8th page of this Pokemon comic I've been working on for the past two days that stress tested my drawing abilities
Probably be posting it tomorrow
shit is gonna get 30 likes in its entire lifetime but I'll personally be proud of this one
I would argue mineta was the funniest part of the anime because of that
He had a slight different vibe with that pervet archetype that I liked, with it being much more specific and varied his "moments" were compaired to the standard Roshi cycle.
Too bad he got brainwashed...
It's interesting people are being moralist about this being done with ai because I wonder if they would disengage if there was am ai only definitive exploit
I think these people will eventually give in because most moral justifications for self-service is usually a sham anyways

The people who are most vocal are the ones that always dictates the narrative of situation despite any reality and nuances that would go against the framing.
Japanese people are being discriminated and being held to harsher standards than the aggravators hold for themselves.
xenoverse fans are going to come across what kingdom hearts fans have been feeling about osaka team games for the past 20 years
I'm seeing the same gameplay symptoms with how the overall game feel is looking compaired to XV2
it seems the tweet was instead forwarded to exactly the targeted audience I desired
a complete success on my end
