I had the chance to meet during a dinner with @nchakar and several others at Consensus Miami back in May, and as I tweeted at the time: we are heading straight toward the tokenization of the world, and DTCC, along with other major players, is at the heart of this transformation. This isn’t disruption but a transformation, an evolution driven by the (gigantic) financial institutions themselves. I’ve been saying it for a few months now, but once again, you’ll see in the announcement that @Besu_eth is one of two network being used. @Consensys was the first company to help Ethereum align with the needs of institutions, starting back in 2018 (when the PegaSys team was created and worked on the Pantheon project, which later became Besu. A long story, but a beautiful one). And we’ll keep playing that role so that Ethereum stays at the core of the financial technology evolution we’re witnessing! Thank you to @ethereumJoseph, Rob Dawson and Kanchan Kaur for building and being early champions of Besu and making it possible to build a reliable, institution-grade environment. Congratulations to the entire DTCC team, our whole Besu team, who keep advancing the technology that trillions of dollars in assets will rely on, and everyone working on it every day.
