Banking is moving toward 24/7 settlement. But what about financial privacy? On November 2, Hong Kong's monetary authority announced a major upgrade to Project Ensemble. . 12 banks. 20 industry participants. Tokenized deposits can now be settled between participating banks using tokenized central bank money, around the clock. This is a significant step toward always-on financial infrastructure. But faster settlement is only part of the equation. Financial institutions also need to protect sensitive transaction data, maintain regulatory compliance, and manage access to financial information. That's why I'm paying attention to @SeismicSys. Seismic is building privacy-enabled financial infrastructure designed to bring programmable finance, stablecoin payments, and compliance together. As traditional finance moves onchain, privacy cannot remain an optional feature. ALWAYS-ON FINANCE NEEDS PRIVACY BUILT IN. @xealistt @NoxxW3 @heathcliff_eth
Seismic might look quiet on X and Discord. GitHub tells a very different story. πŸ‘‡ 240+ commits landed across the core repos in the last 2 months. Highlights: πŸ”Ή Summit (consensus client) Four releases shipped, v0.1.0 through v0.1.3. New: "follow mode" to track the chain from remote RPCs, observer mode, a 128-validator cap and a deposit signing server. πŸ”Ή TEE infrastructure The seismic-tee CLI was rewritten from Python to Rust (v0.2.0 β†’ v0.2.4). Google Cloud TDX support now sits alongside Azure. Image build provenance is verified before a network is founded. πŸ”Ή Encrypted EVM layer A new tx-context precompile (0x6A) that detects signed reads, purpose key rotation, a gas-token registry for paying gas with registered tokens, and millisecond-precision block timestamps. πŸ”Ή Privacy hardening eth_getProof disabled, storageRoot redacted in eth_getAccount, and gas and nonce handling fixed for failed decryptions. πŸ”Ή SUSDC Upgradeable proxy setup, plus an ERC-7281 (xERC20) bridge role and rate limits. $40 million for a stablecoin-powered financial operating system. PhotonPay just raised $40M to expand its infrastructure connecting stablecoins, banking networks, and global payments. The company reports $65B in annualized transaction volume and over 200,000 business customers. But one detail caught my attention. They're building an execution layer for AI agents. Think about what happens next. AI agents could increasingly initiate payments, manage financial workflows, and interact with business accounts. That introduces a critical question: Who controls what these systems can access, execute, and expose? This is why I'm watching @SeismicSys. Seismic is building privacy-enabled stablecoin infrastructure combining global payments, virtual accounts, compliance workflows, and customer privacy. As financial operations become more automated, protecting sensitive information becomes increasingly important. THE FUTURE OF FINANCE IS PROGRAMMABLE. Wall Street just took another major step onchain. DTCC has officially launched its Tokenization Service. 20 major financial institutions have signed access agreements, including JPMorgan, Citi, Morgan Stanley, and UBS. Stocks, ETFs, and U.S. Treasuries can now enter a regulated tokenization framework. But here's the bigger question: What infrastructure will move the money behind these assets? Tokenization alone isn't enough. Financial institutions also need compliant payments, reliable settlement infrastructure, and protection for sensitive financial data. Financial privacy is becoming an institutional requirement. Yesterday, Arcane and Predicate introduced an Enterprise Privacy Stack on Stellar. The approach combines three critical components: β†’ Confidential transactions β†’ Programmable compliance β†’ Controlled access for regulatory investigations The message is becoming clearer. Banks and fintechs need more than fast onchain settlement. They need infrastructure that protects sensitive financial information without sacrificing accountability. This is exactly the direction @SeismicSys has been building toward. Seismic brings privacy-enabled stablecoin payments, virtual accounts, global transfers, and compliance workflows into a unified fintech infrastructure. As institutional finance moves onchain, privacy and compliance can no longer be treated as separate concerns.

$520 billion in working capital. A new chapter for onchain business payments. C2FO and Ripple just announced an initiative to bring invoice financing and settlement onto the XRP Ledger using RLUSD. The goal? Help suppliers receive early payments in seconds instead of waiting days for bank settlement. But faster payments introduce another important question. What happens to financial confidentiality when business payments move onchain? Transaction amounts, supplier relationships, and sensitive financial activity shouldn't become unnecessarily exposed. That's why @SeismicSys is worth watching. Seismic is building privacy-enabled stablecoin infrastructure that combines global payments, compliance workflows, and financial confidentiality. Two major developments in just 24 hours. β†’ Ripple received final OCC approval for its national trust bank. β†’ The OCC encouraged community banks to enter the stablecoin market. The direction is becoming increasingly clear. Stablecoins are moving deeper into regulated financial infrastructure. But issuing digital dollars is only part of the challenge. Stablecoins are no longer just about moving money. They're becoming the foundation of everyday banking. Tala just partnered with El Dorado to bring USDT-powered credit directly into digital wallets. Users will be able to access loans in seconds, with disbursements and repayments settled onchain. But here's what I find particularly interesting. As stablecoin wallets evolve into financial platforms, they begin handling much more than payments. Credit histories. Customer identities. Financial behavior. Sensitive transaction data. And that raises an important question: Who should be able to see all of it? This is why I'm paying attention to @SeismicSys. Seismic is building privacy enabled infrastructure for neobanks, payment platforms, and financial applications. The next big opportunity in stablecoins might not be another stablecoin. Mural just announced $28M in total funding, with its latest round led by Tether. The company has already processed $2.1B in payments across 128 countries. But the interesting part isn't just the numbers. It's what the market is beginning to value: β†’ Unified financial accounts β†’ Global payment infrastructure β†’ Built-in compliance β†’ Programmable financial controls And I believe there's another requirement that deserves just as much attention. Privacy. Financial applications shouldn't have to expose sensitive customer information to benefit from blockchain infrastructure. That's what makes @SeismicSys particularly interesting to me. Seismic is approaching stablecoin infrastructure with payments, compliance, and privacy as interconnected parts of the same experience. The future of fintech isn't just about moving money faster. It's about building financial infrastructure people and businesses can actually trust.

Onchain credit is starting to look a lot more like real credit. Kamino just launched fixed-rate borrowing against tokenized assets. Its AUTO market backed by exposure to U.S. consumer auto-loan financing grew from $10M to $135M in three weeks. This matters because institutions don't just need assets onchain. They need familiar credit infrastructure: β†’ Fixed rates β†’ Defined terms β†’ Predictable cost of capital β†’ Reliable collateral But there's another requirement that matters just as much: confidentiality. Borrowing positions. Collateral levels. Liquidation thresholds. Credit strategies. These are valuable financial information. That's where @SeismicSys opens up an interesting design space: financial applications where sensitive state can remain shielded while the underlying markets stay programmable. Tokenization brought assets onchain. Now credit markets are following.

JPMorgan just brought JPM Coin to Ethereum mainnet. And this isn't another stablecoin. It's tokenized commercial bank money representing actual USD deposits at JPMorgan built for institutional payments, settlement and collateral. Think about what that signals. Bank money is moving onto public blockchain infrastructure. But there's an important distinction here: Permissioned access isn't the same thing as financial privacy. USDC settled more than $36 trillion onchain in H1 2026. But another number caught my attention. Circle paid $819M to distribution partners and transaction costs during the same period. And now its largest distribution partner, Coinbase, is also backing Open USD a competing model designed to share more of the stablecoin economics with participants. This points to a bigger shift. As more stablecoins enter the market, the token itself becomes less of the differentiation. The battle moves up the stack: β†’ Payments β†’ Distribution β†’ KYC β†’ Compliance β†’ Privacy β†’ Yield β†’ Programmability That's what makes @SeismicSys interesting. .@a16zcrypto just highlighted one of the biggest barriers to institutional onchain adoption. KYC. Not because institutions want to avoid compliance. Because verifying the same identity repeatedly creates unnecessary friction. The next generation of financial infrastructure needs: β†’ Reusable KYC β†’ Verifiable credentials β†’ Privacy-preserving verification β†’ Programmable compliance controls But here's the bigger question. Why should proving your identity require repeatedly exposing your personal information? That's where @SeismicSys becomes interesting. I’ve been selected for the @SeismicSys Spotlight! Seeing the incredible love and support that SeismicMaker has received from the community genuinely means so much to me. Knowing that something I created has been embraced and appreciated by so many people makes me incredibly happy. Every project has its own vision, goals, and technological milestones it wants to achieve. I understand all of that, and I deeply respect the ambition behind building something meaningful. But there's something I believe will always remain true: No matter how far technology advances or where projects go, they will always need a strong community behind them. Think about the most extraordinary technologies you can imagine. Even in a world where everything has changed, people will still want to communicate, connect, build friendships, and feel that they belong somewhere. The ways we interact might evolve. The platforms and technologies might look completely different. But the emotions, the human connections, and the desire to belong will never disappear. And that brings me to Seismic. If you ask me, @SeismicSys draws its greatest strength from its community. Does Seismic have incredible technology? Absolutely. Are there exciting partnerships, developments, and innovations happening? Without a doubt. Just take a look at GitHub, and you'll see a team that never stops building. All of that is impressive, but I genuinely believe the real strength of Seismic comes from its organic community. A community that supports one another, celebrates contributions, builds together, and makes people feel like they're part of something bigger. And I'm genuinely proud to be part of it. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and SeismicMaker. A special thank you to @xealistt , @NoxxW3 , and @heathcliff_eth for everything you do. And my friend @lyronctk , seeing you work alongside this team only reinforces what I already believe: you truly know what you're doing. Technology builds the future. Communities give it meaning. Proud to be part of the Seismic family. ❀️
