There’s a bunch of stuff i didn’t like about gigaverse during my time on Abstract, the whole ecosystem felt kinda extractive, and even when i tried playing, it felt like i had to keep throwing more money at the game on top of my initial bet just to stay competitive, even tho i owned multiple assets, i still had to pay for a quarterly juiced sub to get the most out of it, which honestly always rubbed me the wrong way. BUT gotta give credit where it’s due, the team knows their shit. ▪️Giga Noob is going absolutely crazy on YT, with 2.2M subs and reels pulling millions of views, and it’s all organic, no paid bs, the growth is actually insane ngl this could legit be the next Pudgy Penguins if not something 100x bigger. ▪️Gigaverse has one of the strongest communities out there mostly because literally anyone can play, not just holders, can’t remember the exact player count on Abstract, but i’m pretty sure they’re #1 in terms of players on the entire ecosystem. ▪️they’re constantly shipping on both the web2 and web3 sides, Giga Noob is farming crazy numbers on YT, and about a month ago they dropped Nooby, a mobile app that’s still being built out, on the web3 side, Gigaverse Online is getting close to launch, and that’s easily one of the most hyped releases in web3 gaming rn. despite all the stuff i didn’t like, i’m still pretty bullish on @gigaverse, they’ve got the funding, the IP is cracked, and the community is strong af. now it’s all about execution, Gigaverse Online and Giga Legends have a lot of potential, but let’s see if they can actually cook.
