Imagine this. You're 23. You just finished your FIFTH season as a college basketball player. You're not a big name. You're not a big body. You're not expected to make the big league. But you grinded. You grinded so hard that in your 5th year, you lead your team in every single statistical category. 🔸Points 🔸Rebounds 🔸Assists 🔸Steals 🔸Blocks You're 6'2" and you're leading your team in blocks, and out-rebounding half of the Centers in your conference. And then, you get doubted again. You go to the NBA Draft, and all 30 teams say no to you- TWICE! You're thinking about overseas. You're probably thinking about making a TikTok page. But then you get a call from the Cleveland Cavaliers. You come in and lead the Summer League team to a championship in Las Vegas. Then, your number gets called because of injuries. All of a sudden, you're making game-winning plays against Joel Embiid. You went from "late" as a 23-year-old, undrafted player to ahead of schedule with a composed, mature play style beyond your years. You pass. You score. You play downhill. You defend. You hustle. You have something. The Cavs saw that something, and 7 months later, they signed you to a 4-year contract. From underrated and undrafted to a guaranteed NBA contract with a team that wants you. THIS is the story of Craig Porter Jr. 💯
