Tim LOVES the great Indiana State Fair and I am excited to watch his leadership!
Some personal news: last night I was elected to serve as President of the Indiana State Fair Board. I’m honored by the trust placed in me by the board and thrilled about the opportunity to work with the great team to protect, preserve and enhance the Great Indiana State Fair.

Mayors don’t get bogged down in national talking points, we deal with real challenges everyday. @SueFinkam has been tireless in her pursuit of exposing this critical issue facing every city across America. Public safety is priority #1 for any mayor, but we have major budget constraints, and this issue is a major contributor. Thanks to @Jim_Banks for his tireless effort in helping us tackle this issue.

When we are used to four kids, but only have one this week, you get to spend quality time with your 15 year old @Topgolf!

Thank you to Kosciousko County GOP Chairman Mike Ragan for inviting me to “Wine in Winona Lake” last evening! They gather every Friday afternoon to talk about the issues facing their community. This morning, I was invited to address the Elkhart County GOP monthly meeting. The crowd was engaged and eager to talk about the future of counties, cities and towns in our state. I was equally as eager to listen. As chair of the @AimIndiana Legislative Committee and incoming chair of @CIRDAIndiana, it’s important to continue to travel and listen to what’s on the minds of Hoosier in every corner of the state.

🎥 We’re in Noblesville today shooting video for Nov. 5, when we’ll recognize Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen as our Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year at our 37th Annual Awards Dinner, presented by SIHO! Still time to register for the event, which will feature CNN’s Scott Jennings, the network’s leading Republican voice, and Jessica Tarlov, Democratic co‑host of The Five on Fox News, as featured speakers for a timely presentation titled "The Political Pulse." I had a great afternoon on the road to New Castle, Milroy and @RushvilleInd yesterday! As @AimIndiana Legislative Chair, it’s important that we LISTEN directly to cities and towns, large and small, as we work to move our state forward! Thanks to my friend, Mayor Mike Pavey, for hosting a gathering of community leaders as well!!

I’m proud #Noblesville has been named one of the Best Small Cities in America by @wallethub, ranking No. 22! This recognition reflects what makes America’s Hometown such a great place to live, work, play and stay, including our continued investments in public safety, infrastructure, economic and workforce development, trails, and quality of life. We’re in great company with all four Hamilton County cities making the list!

Carmel is a special place, and keeping it that way takes strong partners at every level of government. As Mayor, I need a partner at the Statehouse who understands Carmel, will fight for our priorities, support public safety, and protect the quality of life we’ve worked so hard for. Danny Lopez is that partner. On November 3, vote @lopezforindiana.

This is great news! Just a thought: once this is paid off, our $ spent on education within the state budget falls well below the 50% mark in our state budget. We have prided ourselves on that stat for years as a state. Spitballing: Take the $1B annual payment, apply it to fund the education fund for schools across the state, which takes the burden off of local taxpayers, and most Hoosiers would see a property tax reduction of nearly 25%. You would need to supplement with some additional budget savings (IE: surplus or sales tax). Now that’s an actual property tax reform plan where all Hoosiers would benefit. I’ve only had one cup of coffee today, buckle up.
Indiana's Pre-1996 Teachers' Retirement Fund will be fully funded a decade early. ✅ Our state’s fiscal responsibility has strengthened retirement security for our teachers, saved our schools billions and reduced a major long-term cost for taxpayers. indianahouserepublicans.com/…

Nothing says “Hoosier Hospitality” quite like a sunrise on the front porch of @FL_Resort on a Wednesday morning!
