I find it really weird when I see ppl who were not involved or affected in any way by an incident claim that the person who did wrong atoned for their mistakes and suggest the affected individual should forgive them and move on. You can feel however you want about that person, but nobody has to forgive someone just because you feel like it's not a big deal or enough time has passed

WE ARE BACK HOME FROM @EVOFRANCE! 🇫🇷 WOW, what a trip for the books!
I got 25th/975 at EVO FRANCE and 5th/64 at the EVO pre-tournament for @tekken ! ⭐️
The level of competition was incredibly high, and I was excited to put my skills to the test. Going into this weekend, I had a few specific goals:
🎮 Play both characters when the situation called for it
🫁 Breathe between rounds
🎯 Focus on what's in front of me instead of the “what ifs”
🧠 Give myself ONE clear job to focus on during a match to reduce overthinking (shoutout to @MommaToaster for teaching me this amazing concept!)
I'm proud to see the hours of studying and preparation pay off. Every tournament is another opportunity to learn, grow, and push myself further. I'm excited to keep building on these milestones.
And beyond the competition, thank you to everyone who made this trip so special. I got to reconnect with people I hadn't seen in a while, meet new faces, and hear so many thoughtful and kind words. Those moments mean a lot to me, and I'll carry them with me for a long time. ❤️
Until next time. 🌎✈️

Nobody prepares you for how much quieter you become in your 30s ! You stop needing to be seen, chosen, understood or validated ! You just want to feel rested, regulated, grounded & at peace !

i am no longer afraid of things falling apart. i have seen what happens after the worst of it. the sun still rises, people still laugh, new things still begin, and one day, you find yourself happy about something you once thought you would never recover from.

Are you actually reacting in Virtua Fighter, or are you just guessing? 🧠🥊
Most players plateau because they confuse reacting to the game state with committing to real reads.

telling yourself "everything will workout for me" is a cheat code for life. when you expect good outcomes, you become more open to opportunities, more willing to take risks, and more resilient when things go wrong. optimism changes how you see possibilities, and that can change the way you live.

You can't control how people perceive you. Someone thinks you're cringe. Someone thinks you're genius. Someone will say you've changed. No matter what you do, someone will have an opinion. None of them are paying your bills. Only you know what's best for you. Just you. So stop performing for an audience that doesn't matter. Let them talk. Just do your thing.
