no, the ACA fixed a lot, and forced Insurance companies to actually give healthcare instead of loopholes.
The culprit is greedy insurance companies who want to keep raising their profit margins, so when forced to cover people, kept raising rates, even though in profit.

the reason why the space should welcome Kamala at the BTC conference is that there is a chance she could actually WIN the election whether she speaks there or not (and only hubris would prevent you from thinking it's possible)
so getting her to be as accommodative on crypto as possible right now is good, AND if anything would only push Trump to become even more accommodative on it
