I simply cannot bring myself to believe that any writer who is highly critical of other writers is a good writer. To be a good writer, you need to write a lot and writing is such a humbling endeavor. How can you not be graceful when your pride is being checked on a regular?

Read a film essay that was almost all references to theory and theorists and it was such a slog.

No more movies setting violent scenes to innocuous/upbeat music please. It's not clever or meaningful anymore.

Saw an ad for an online used booksale. Clicked it. Took me to a picture of a woman's huge naked butt jiggling. Hmm. I don't quite know what to make of that.

Watched the first episode of Mike Flannagan's Carrie yesterday and it was one of the worst things I've seen in a very long time. The fact that this kind of thing gets you glowing reviews from TV critics is a huge indictment of the field.

Not only are the leftists stealing elections in America, but now they're doing it all around the world. It's a global conspiracy. They must be stopped!

America if this was a law:
If you receive welfare, you shouldn’t get to vote because you'd be a single-issue voter on maintaining and increasing your welfare, plus voting for any party that promises to do this.
