A heads up before following, this is going to be mostly a ramble/rant space. I never planned on making an account like this but I need a void to scream into sometimes and I don’t want to clog my main acc.
So feel free to stay, but be warned🙏🏻
It grosses me out when someone uses the “good deeds” they do to obtain clout. It comes off so insincere when you’re like “I put this much money into this good thing”, or “I made sure to rope in this many people of a community”. Like amazing ur doing that but do you actually care?
Like I could easily be like “yeah I’m a good person because I did this, this, and that” but when you are using those things to prove you are good, is it just for the PR? Because a good deed shouldn’t be done with the idea of using it later down the line to “prove yourself good”.
One thing I’ve learned about myself is I have such a hard time distinguishing when someone is reciprocating feelings for me vs just enjoying my attention. People ask “how are you single” , or say “you have so many options” but how many of those “options” are actually interested.
I feel I’ve just come to accept that I am the “convenient option” for guys who are lonely. And it sucks because I genuinely fall for these guys and they entertain visions of a future together but flake as soon as things get too serious.
Posts can get a bit personal and I don’t really planned to censor much of my feelings that do come out here! I don’t plan on doom posting, but it won’t be as polished as my main account posts!
