Most security tools hand you a list of findings and leave the explaining to you. CyphBot, the assistant inside Cyphward, works from the findings already stored in your own workspace. Ask what a finding means, get fix steps for your stack, or draft a short summary for your board with your score filled in from the platform. See it with sample data at cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

Your first Cyphward score takes three steps. 1. Add a domain your business owns. 2. Publish one DNS TXT record so we know it's yours. 3. Let the scan run. You get a score out of 100 across Network and DNS, Web and Apps, Encryption and Exposure, with evidence and a fix for every finding. Anything we couldn't check stays visible, never quietly passed. 30 day trial, no card. Or try the demo with sample data first at cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

A customer sends a security questionnaire. Writing the answers is the easy part. Showing the proof is where most teams get stuck. Give each answer an owner and a date to check it again. Show your outside view with evidence. Send a dated snapshot, not a dashboard screenshot. And say plainly what wasn't checked. Cyphward helps with that: checks on domains you verify, evidence and a fix for every finding, questionnaires with owners and expiry dates, and dated evidence packs. Ten minutes tonight can save you a messy Monday. A quick look at your public domain before the week starts: 1. When does each TLS certificate expire, on every hostname? 2. Is DMARC still on p=none? Plan the move up once your real senders pass. 3. Which subdomains exist, and does anyone still own them? 4. Are HSTS and your other security headers still set? Cyphward runs these checks daily on domains you have verified, with evidence and a fix for each finding. #CyberSecurity

A security score is only as honest as what it checked. If a scan was blocked or a host was never looked at, a clean number can still look reassuring. That's how teams end up confident about systems nobody actually tested. In Cyphward, checks that fail or get blocked show as not assessed, never as passed. The 0 to 100 score and grade only appear when enough of your verified scope was covered, and every finding comes with evidence and a fix. Try the demo with sample data at cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

A stolen password should not be enough to get into your admin panel. A quick weekend check for your team: 1. MFA on every admin, email and cloud console account 2. An authenticator app over SMS codes where you can 3. No shared admin logins or MFA exceptions 4. A review of who still has admin access Cyphward accounts support authenticator app sign in as well. #CyberSecurity

Every open port on your public hosts is a door someone can knock on. Databases, remote desktop and admin panels were never meant to answer the whole internet. Close what you don't use, keep databases on a private network, and put admin access behind a VPN or IP allowlist with MFA. Cyphward checks the 100 most common ports on each host of your verified domains, shows what's open and rescans daily. Try the demo with sample data at cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

When a customer sends a security or data protection questionnaire, writing the answers is the easy part. Finding the evidence behind them is where the week goes. The Cyphward compliance workspace keeps it in one place: an NDPA 2023 register mapped to evidence, questionnaire answers with an owner and an expiry date, a breach incident log, and dated evidence packs you can hand over. It isn't a certification. It's the paper trail. Try the demo with sample data, no signup: cyphward.com #NDPA #DataProtection

Scanning for known vulnerabilities shouldn't put your live site at risk. Cyphward checks the public web apps on your verified domains for known CVEs, and it does it carefully. Intrusive and credential templates are left out, requests are rate capped with a fair budget per host, and the most serious checks run first. A finding only closes when that exact check passes again, so nothing quietly drops off your list. Try the demo with sample data, no signup: cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

Techpoint Africa reports that Nigeria's Bureau of Public Enterprises left three full WordPress backups, about 1 GB, in a public folder anyone could download from. A researcher said the files held live database credentials. The site has since been taken down. Backups belong somewhere with no public address. Directory listing should be off. And if a file was exposed, deleting it isn't enough: rotate the passwords and keys inside it. Forgotten hosts tend to hold forgotten files. Cyphward finds your subdomains from certificate logs and rescans verified domains daily. Source: techpoint.africa/news/bureau… #CyberSecurity #NDPA

Check Point Research says 1 in 91 emails was phishing in September, up from 1 in 112 in August. The phishing that hurts most is mail that looks like it came from your own domain. SPF lists who can send for you. DMARC tells receivers what to do with mail that fails, and p=none only watches. Cyphward checks both on your verified domains, flags a missing DMARC record as critical and p=none as high, and shows the fix. Source: blog.checkpoint.com/research… #CyberSecurity #EmailSecurity

An NCC survey of 19 telecom licensees found only 2 fully ready to implement the Internet Code of Practice 2026. Nine said they were partly ready and five said they were not. Cybersecurity obligations were among the hardest parts. Wherever your plan stands, start with what anyone on the internet can already see: forgotten subdomains, missing security headers, weak SPF and DMARC, certificates close to expiry. Cyphward checks all of that on your verified domains and gives you a score out of 100, with evidence and a fix for every finding. CBN has said the 1 January 2027 deadline for storing Nigerian payment transaction data locally is not changing. Migrations like this add new hostnames, DNS records and certificates, and a fresh server setup can quietly drop security headers. Worth checking from the outside before and after cutover. Cyphward finds subdomains through Certificate Transparency logs and checks TLS, headers and email security on each verified domain, then rescans daily. Prosecutors say someone had unauthorised access to MoMo Payment Service Bank's systems from May to August 2026, with about ₦340 million allegedly diverted. The defendant has pleaded not guilty and trial is set for 27 November. The lesson for any bank or fintech is time. Attacks rarely need one lucky day. They need weeks nobody is watching. Watch what you expose. Cyphward rescans your verified domains every day: new subdomains, SPF and DMARC, security headers, TLS certificates. Not every breach comes from outside. At a police cybersecurity awareness campaign in Abuja last week, IGP Olatunji Disu warned banks and fintechs that threats can start inside: compromised staff, abused privileged access, negligence and weak internal controls. His point was that firewalls and encryption alone can't remove that risk. Four checks worth doing this week: Review who holds admin access, and why. Remove leavers' access the same day. Put MFA on every privileged account. Log privileged actions and have someone else review them. Source: blueprint.ng/police-ndpc-war… #CyberSecurity #Fintech

Not every security finding is an emergency. Some are. Every Cyphward finding carries a severity. No DMARC record or an expired certificate is critical. No HSTS, or DMARC left at p=none, is high. A missing CSP or SPF record is medium. A missing nosniff header is low. Each one comes with the evidence we saw and the fix. Start at the top. #CyberSecurity

A security report should still say the same thing next month. From this weekend, every Cyphward report is built from a frozen snapshot of the assessment at that moment: score, grade, open findings, scope and dates. Later scans and fixes don't rewrite it. Each snapshot is stored with a SHA256 hash and can't be edited, and the Reports page shows which reports are frozen snapshots and which are older legacy ones. #CyberSecurity

If a security scanner visits your site, you should be able to tell whose it is. Every web request Cyphward makes carries a user agent that links to cyphward.com/scanner. That page says who asked for the scan, what we check, and what we never do: no login attempts, no form submissions, no fuzzing, no load testing. We only scan domains whose owners verified them with a DNS TXT record. If your firewall blocks us, those checks show as not assessed, never as passed. #CyberSecurity

Not every subdomain is yours to fix. If a subdomain points at your email provider's click tracking, the response is theirs. Header findings there aren't yours to act on. Cyphward now skips header, banner and robots.txt findings on hosts handed off to a third party, and still checks the TLS certificate on your own hostname. cyphward.com #CyberSecurity

SPF is the DNS record that tells the world which servers are allowed to send email for your domain. Without one, receiving servers have nothing to check a spoofed message against. Cyphward checks your verified domain for a v=spf1 record. If there isn't one, you get a medium finding, the TXT records we did see as evidence, and an example record to adapt. List every service that really sends your mail, publish it, then run a recheck. cyphward.com #EmailSecurity #CyberSecurity
