Sometimes it has been hard to pick my best 5 as Peel have been terrible, today was hard given there were so many contributors. I've gone with: 5️⃣ Reidy ⚓ Liam was in BEAST mode from the first bounce, grabbing the ball and muscling through the square, the first of a number of time he muscled his way through. No goals this week but drove the ball forward and lead the ruck with 41 hitouts to go with his 19 disposals. 4️⃣ Sharp ⚓ Jeremy played both deep in defence and also moved up to half forward with the play. The dry conditions suited his pace and he ended up with 25 touches, 10 marks and a goal. 3️⃣ Delean ⚓ This was Jack's best game this season bar the Round 8 clash also against Subiaco. Kicked 3.2 from 16 disposals but he also used his pace to move the ball forward and set up others. It felt like the sort of game we were used to seeing Cooper Simpson play before his move down back. 2️⃣ Dudley ⚓ It felt like Duds spent a bit of time on the bench, but when he was on the ground (especially in the opening and final quarters) he moved well to present a target in the forward 50. Kicked three goals (3.2) from his 16 touches, with a fourth easily getable 1️⃣ Walker ⚓ I liked Walker's intercept game, he played the role that we've seen Aish do in the backend of this season. Brandon used his pace and smarts and finished with 13 touches, 4 marks and a first quarry goal. Oscar McDonald had a game high 13 marks playing predominantly in defence and Ollie Murphy (who I often knock for being too slow) was strong with his marking in defence early in the game. Hugh Davies was also clean with his disposal and moved from defence to the wing time and time again to help drive the ball from defence to attack. Josh Draper played a variety of positions including up forward which saw him kick 2 goals. #WAFL #GoThunder⚡ #ForeverFreo⚓ – at Leederville, Perth (WA)
