Vaccines don’t cause autism. Tylenol (acetaminophen) doesn’t cause autism. Miniscule trace pesticide residues don’t cause autism. Aluminum doesn’t cause autism. Fluoride doesn’t cause autism. The biggest predictor of autism? Genetics. And we recognize autism better today. 1/

Sources are telling me that after weeks of horrible supply shortages for home care patients (palliative nd post surgical) in Ontario @OH_atHome Health will be returning to some of the tried and true pharmacy and supply providers on November 25th. In other words reversing the failed “experiment” Feel free to Update on this thread.

As one of the journalists who helped bring this “hidden” problem to light I believe maximum transparency is needed. The integrity of home care is critical.
Since Ontario Health at Home contract changed, home care patients are waiting too long for medical supplies and families are paying out of pocket. We need an audit of this contract so that we can understand how the system could have been broken so badly. #onpoli

Update on Ontario Home care supply shortage- I’ll upgrade it to “crisis” based on what I’m hearing Nurse tells me the situation is “beyond awful” - unable to secure a hospital bed for patient dying at home. A patient tells me her doctor- aware that home care supplies aren’t being delivered- ordered her antibiotics to prevent infections because a post surgical wound infection for her could she said “be deadly” They both said that assurances the situation is improving don’t match their realities #homecare

Update on the unfolding Home Care supply shortage in Ontario Dr. Drew Moore @d_moore17 is a palliative care specialist in Trenton who called me describing a chaotic medical supply system that is leaving dying Ontario patients in pain. "I've never seen such sort of disastrous change that's resulted in people suffering. The scary part about this is it's happening to the most vulnerable patients you know, patients who are at end of life," he said in a phone interview. Why is this happening? The answer for everything in health care cannot be "follow-up with your family doctor".

Dear Naturopath, I am happy to work together for our mutual patients I am happy to share the results of previous investigations But please DO NOT tell patients to bring me a long list of expensive and unnecessary tests for me to order so that they don't have to pay for it
