Why does $ABAT continue to post things like this?
Investors want actual progress updates, not some meaningless updates.
What ever happened to the factory videos they used to post. Operational updates are what investors want.
Phase 2? DFS update? EXIM? They have acted like this since inception, I genuinely don't understand them sometimes.
Great to see the continued impact of the ReCell Center in bringing together leaders from across industry, research, and government to advance the future of battery materials.
Thank you to @argonne National Laboratory, the ReCell Center team, Jeffrey Spangenberger, and the U.S. Department of Energy (@ENERGY) for hosting and supporting this years ReCell Industry event. We were honored to participate, with Ryan Melsert joining fellow panelists to discuss how collaboration between national laboratories and industry can accelerate the development, scaling, and deployment of impactful solutions.
We were also proud to have Kris Gustafson, York Smith, and Matthew Mendoza representing ABTC throughout the event. Their participation provided an excellent opportunity to share ABTCs technical expertise, exchange insights with leading researchers and industry peers, and learn from others advancing innovation across the battery chain.
Building a secure, resilient U.S. battery materials supply chain requires more than innovation alone. It requires demonstrated collaboration across research, manufacturing, recycling, and commercialization to move technologies from the laboratory into real-world deployment. Through partnerships with organizations like Argonne, ReCell, the U.S. DOE, and industry stakeholders, we are actively contributing to this effort by commercializing technologies and advancing domestic battery materials production at scale. We are proud to be part of the collective work underway to strengthen Americas battery ecosystem and critical mineral independence.

ABTC CEO Ryan Melsert recently highlighted our unique business model in @Waste360 , showcasing how American Battery Technology Company is taking a differentiated approach to building a resilient domestic battery materials supply chain. Unlike companies focused on a single part of the value chain, ABTC integrates battery recycling, primary lithium resource development, and refining, creating a circular and scalable platform for domestic battery material production.
“We view lithium resource development and battery recycling as complementary pillars of a domestic battery materials supply chain,” Melsert noted. By leveraging the same expertise in extraction, separation, purification, and refining across both business lines, We accelerate innovation, create operational efficiencies, and responsibly scale solutions that address both near-term and long-term battery material needs.
What sets us apart is not simply that we mine lithium or recycle batteries, but that we have built an integrated battery materials platform that does both. By developing domestic lithium resources while recovering critical materials already in circulation, we are creating a circular supply chain designed to meet both near-term market demands and long-term resource needs. This dual-track approach strengthens supply chain resilience, reduces dependence on imported materials, and positions ABTC to play a unique role in securing America's battery materials future.

$ABAT the most pitiful part is the investors who are defending this disgusting display of corporate governance. Pitchforks should be raised and investors SHOULD be angry.
$ABAT Investors and long-term holders have been PIPED by this incompetent leadership. Little to no value has been created for 6+ year holders while the vast majority of capable companies have 10x'd in that same frame of time.

They’ve been terrible for years. $ABAT
Nothing will ever change. Board are merely there to fill NASDAQ requirements, they will never make Ryan step down to CTO, its mostly his tech unfortunately
Their all puppets. Explains why phase 2 is a ways off.
We got this from an analyst the other day.
@RyanMelsert said in 2024 by the end of the year the plant could be fully running and generating between $50-$200m depending on metal prices. He blatantly lied. They must have been under financial stress for him to make such statements knowing there was zero chance of that happening.
In possibly one of the most important times in their history, when critical minerals have become so important in the world, they have done failed to do anything communications wise. They even have an investor deck from 2024 still there. Also, they are one of the only companies to never announce earnings like a normal company, its always sporadic.

$ABAT @abt_company acts like an OTC company lol. Almost 7 months and 0 operational updates.
Ryan Melsert should step down

The bill prioritizes recycled material, but minerals extracted from mines would be eligible.
