I use the @ether_fi Cash card for my everyday spending. Not for everything, just the daily stuff.
Why this one? I wanted self-custody and a card that actually works in Europe. Couldn't find both in one place before. It's a Visa, and the funds sit in a non-custodial Safe vault that only you can authorize.
There are two ways to pay.
Direct Pay spends your stablecoins 1:1, like a debit card.
Borrow Mode borrows against your crypto on every purchase, so you don't have to sell it.
I mostly use Borrow Mode. But let's be clear, it's a loan. Interest runs until you repay, and if your collateral drops and the health factor hits 1.0, part of it gets liquidated automatically. Keep a buffer.
Cashback comes in ETHFI with a 7-day lock. On the free tier it's **3% on the first $2k a month** ($800 if you spend in EUR), then 1% and lower. Higher tiers raise the caps. No FX markup on EUR purchases. Other currencies cost around 1%, plus up to 0.5% on the free tier.
It's not perfect though. My SEPA deposits got blocked a few times by the banking partner's KYC checks, but the team has been genuinely helpful trying to sort it out.
I spent months comparing onchain cards. My honest take? Right now I don't think there's a better onchain platform and card out there. That's why my spending lives here.

Solana just passed 1,000 days without a full network halt. The last one was Feb 6, 2024 and lasted about five hours.
In August a hosting failure knocked ~29% of stake offline and blocks kept coming.
Boring uptime is the best feature a chain can ship.
Honest question for crypto card people:
What actually makes you pick a card?
Cashback? FX rate? Fees and tiers? Or who holds your money?
Where do you land? 👀
My take on Ethena Pay's new Earn+:
If a yield needs ~11x leverage to reach 12%, I don't call it yield. It's a leveraged position with a savings-app UI.
The vault (live since Oct 28) loops USDe against USDT on Aave V4, and the 12% is a target, not a promise. Ethena Pay says it doesn't guarantee the assets or the returns. Credit for saying it out loud.
Most people will only read the 12%. Read the risk line first.
The Binance hot wallet exploit last week ran straight through Aave. One attacker wallet supplied 60M USDT and borrowed 19,762 WETH. Aave's contracts weren't touched and the loan stayed overcollateralized the whole time, so suppliers weren't on the hook.
Anthropic's amended S-1 is out. Q3 revenue ~$17B, up 47% QoQ after 144% in Q2. Still no IPO price range.
Crypto isn't waiting. Entropy's ANTH pre-IPO perp on Hyperliquid sits at ~$98M open interest, implying ~$1.8T.
IPO day becomes the first real mark check.
JP is right and he knows it 😂
Two years mining HOT, using the wallet, refreshing for a TGE that may or may not exist.
At this point it's not an airdrop, it's a long distance relationship. No ring, no date, just vibes.

Binance lost ~$6.3B in a hack on Oct 29. Biggest crypto theft on record.
They said "user funds are safe" and pledged to cover the losses.
My take: safe and withdrawable on the same day are two different things.
Withdrawals paused right after the hack. They came back in phases on Nov 1: BTC first, then ETH and the rest. Some tokens are still reopening today.
Your balance can be fully backed and still be frozen.
Their timeline, not yours.
Coinbase, Nov 2: "Here's how you could win up to $2M while sleeping." Set up an agent, let it trade from Nov 4.
Coinbase, also Nov 2, legal stuff: "AI agents may fail. You direct all AI activity and assume full responsibility."
Read the second post before the first.
Active loans across DeFi lending markets: about $31.6B (DefiLlama).
Global debt: $365.5T (IIF, H1 2026).
That's under 0.01%.
Everyone acts like onchain credit is crowded. It's a rounding error. The ceiling isn't demand, it's trust and collateral beyond crypto.
Checked Bittensor's root stake on-chain today: 3 validators have ~50% of it delegated to them, the top 10 ~79%. And block production is still Proof-of-Authority.
I like the network. But "decentralized AI" is still a roadmap item, not a finished fact.
I keep seeing "another DeFi hack" this weekend. Honestly, that framing is wrong.
This one wasn't a contract exploit. Early Oct 31 UTC, attackers hijacked the domains of at least 12 DeFi sites (Flap, Kintsu, Pickle among them). Right URL, fake site, one signature, wallet drained.
The code was fine. The front door wasn't.
Used one Oct 30-31? Revoke approvals AND move funds to a new wallet. Kintsu says a delegation signature was used, so revoking alone isn't enough.

Um tipo que acha que:
- Portugal é um encontro de culturas
- A Remigração é demasiado extremista
- A única ameaça a Portugal é o islão
- Os brasileiros são bem vindos porque “têm a mesma matriz cultural”
Existe alguma diferença entre isto e o PSD?
