( and she could 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 his hatred flowing off of him in troves .
it was exciting , honestly , and it brought a smile to her face .
this slayer always put up a 𝑤𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑢𝑙 fight , he never disappointed )
( laughter erupted from her lips as a barely noticeable cloud of her poisons began to seemingly seep from her skin , creating a dusting of a cloud around her .
and then , she unsheathed her own katana , pointing it toward him )

( he is so incredibly 𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 .
surely he must know this , and does it purposefully .
shinobu approaches him , ghosting her hands up his chest until she gently cups his face —
turning him to look at her again )
( shinobu could hardly keep up with the slayer , gasping slightly as he suddenly came at her again with his sword —
her hand raised and ultimately blocked the weapon from hitting it’s target , but not at the cost of losing her
fingers .
she flipped backwards and onto another branch , the digits growing back in a flash )
angry , are we ? tsk , my darling slayer . anger is such a waste of your energy !
