Guys, it's been fun, but I won't be active on here any more, for obvious reasons. I encourage everyone to think carefully about whether what they get out of this platform is worth the price. You can find me on the other site that's apparently now censored here.
Two weeks left to apply!

As a bonus, you get to work with the one, the only @florianjug. He's kind of like our Nick Fury, but with less eyepatch and more bad puns.
What are you waiting for? Apply here, or feel free to DM me with questions. careers.humantechnopole.it/o…
Did you know that from where I live in Milan, I can drive to these two places really easily? In ~2 hours? Isn't that both interesting and completely unrelated to my next tweet?

Really excited about the Cellpose 2.0 paper! This is so much more than the next generation of the tool. This paper is full of gems, like their analysis of how diverse segmentation styles impact segmentation and that state-of-the-art segmentation does not require big data.
Out yesterday from @marius10p and @computingnature: Cellpose 2.0 offers pretrained models and human-in-the-loop training for improved segmentation with fewer user annotated regions.

ALT RLN trained with synthetic mixed structures outperforms direct RLD on volumes contaminated by severe out-of-focus background. Four-color lateral and axial maximum-intensity projections of a fixed U2OS cell, acquired by widefield microscopy, comparing the raw input, RLD and RLN prediction based on a model trained on synthetic mixed structures. Good morning! I’m #AI4Life, I’m almost one month old and I get kicked off today at @embl Heidelberg.
This is also my first tweet.
But I have this gut feeling… there will be more coming towards you soon… 😉
