Schedule sheet has some more updates, scrimmages start this weekend. Added: - Colleluori Classic at Hofstra on Saturday - CORE games at Mercyhurst on Sunday - Venue for Army/Maryland - More D2 and D3 scrimmages of note, including CNU/UVA and Navy/Adelphi docs.google.com/spreadsheets…

Final. Canada bears Haudenosaunee 25-14. Plenty of highlight goals in there for both sides, as you'd expect. Canada's ability to score in transition is a differentiator. Nobody in the world does it as well. Any plan to challenge them for gold starts with a plan to limit that.

McConvey beats the Q3 buzzer, and Canada leads Haudenosaunee 15-8. Better quarter for Haudenosaunee there, they were better and keeping Canada from getting out in transition. Speed for both teams is off the charts.

Canada leads Haudenosaunee 10-5 at the half. Canadian defense tightened up that quarter, pressuring adjacents. That led to more transition where they really did their damage.

9-5 Canada in the 2nd. Canada is crushing it in transition. Dobson save to quick outlet has led to multiple one on nones and dunks. They are so opportunitistic getting up the field.

After the first, Haudenosaunee leads Canada 4-3. Ball is humming. Brett Dobson hot early for Canada. Haudenosaunee lead could be bigger. Tune in on YouTube, awesome game so far.

Update: Canada is face guarding him.

I seriously have no idea what anyone is supposed to do against Zed Williams in this format.

Luke warm take: the coaching staffs at the Atlas Cup, in their primes, are a goalie away from being maybe the best Sixes lineup ever. John Grant Jr (Canada Men) Brodie Merrill (Canada Men) John Tavares (Haudenosaunee Men) Shawn Williams (Canada Women) Cody Jamieson (Haudenosaunee Men)

Canada is absolutely rolling. They're up 11-2 on Ireland. Megan Kinna stands out, her speed is giving Ireland all sorts of problems. Ireland goalie Stella Quilty has made some really great saves, but she's just constantly seeing a barrage of shots.

Canadian men's team has arrived. John Grant Jr and Brodie Merrill are watching the women play now. They probably would have been pretty good at Sixes.

The Canadian women are exceptional at using movement to create openings on the interior of the defense, then sending cutters through that space. Ireland may be able to cover the ball decently well, but Canada is creating chances off ball.

Joe Beninati on the call for all the lacrosse this weekend. Might as well be spring already.

We're about ten minutes out from the opening match of the Atlas Cup here at @USA_Lacrosse HQ! Canada vs Ireland in some women's sixes to kick things off today, followed by Canada vs Haudenosaunee men, then USA vs Haudenosaunee women, and finally USA vs Ireland men. Watch on USA Lacrosse YouTube, it's all free, and there are giveaways on stream.

Just arrived in Baltimore, excited to attend all three days of Atlas Cup!

Atlas Cup starts today at USA Lax HQ! Plenty of the world's best on the field this weekend for some Sixes. Keep an eye on Ireland's Boomer Staunton. Led Ireland in goals in the U20 World Championships, scored 58 goals last season for Assumption, has been very good in Sixes in the past. Under the radar name to watch this weekend.

I've been playing, coaching, or writing about lacrosse for just about my entire life. But the launch of @PremierLacrosse eight years ago is the moment that pushed me towards trying to seriously cover the sport I love, maybe even professionally. Since then, lacrosse has taken me to places, conversations and moments with truly incredible people that I never could have expected and I'm grateful to have experienced every one of them. Happy PLL Day to lacrosse fans everywhere.

I think the new Buffalo Bandits jerseys are great.

RT @PremierLacrosse: Excited for everyone to see this come to life. Introducing ‘The Big Leagues’, an @ESPN Original. …
