Did a little research on Slyng, and from my readings so far am intrigued. It is a launchpad that tries to make rugs harder by putting the rules in the token itself instead of just trusting the creator. Main protections: - Creator has to pick a time lock (1 hour min, 30 days max). 12+ hours gets the rug protection badge. The lock lives in the token and stops the creator’s wallet from selling or transferring until it ends. Can’t be shortened later. - No free bag. Full 1B supply goes on the curve. Creator buys like everyone else and is capped at 5%. - When it graduates, the liquidity is locked in a contract that has no way to pull it. - Creator keeps getting paid after graduation (0.5% of every swap forever), so they’re incentivized to keep the coin alive instead of dumping and disappearing. They’re on Robinhood Chain right now and just added Solana trading (pump fun coins). Native Solana launches are next on the roadmap. It’s better than most launchpads on the rug side but not perfect, the lock only applies to the original creator wallet, and once the timer runs out, they can sell like anyone else. Still early and volume is low, so treat it like any other new launchpad. Do keep in mind it is a heavy WIP and progress and refinements will be made. Roadmap is pretty honest about what’s actually live vs still planned. Worth watching if they ship the Solana launch side cleanly.
