Perhaps ask the previous Governor of Northern Alabama?
Out of nowhere, Canada became poorer than Alabama. How is that possible? theglobeandmail.com/business…
Canada, 2026: Carney is plowing ahead with some bizarre treaty that can’t be explained by anyone and he’s completely bypassing our spineless national media. The only person standing up to this nonsense is the separatist premier in Quebec.
Career criminal gets shot during a home invasion and the cops let him go. It's people like this that have doomed our country. We are past recovery.
Replying to @dantappin @anthonyfurey
Last I checked, you don’t get arrested for being shot. There needs to be an investigation

He was said to have been shot himself by one of his co-accused but was able to leave hospital before arrest

Anyone looking for an accountant job in Toronto?
@KPMG_Canada in Toronto is claiming they cannot not find Canadian workers to fill 15 accounting jobs.
Do you think there aren't 15 out of work Canadian accountants in Toronto? Mark Carney does. ⬇️
KPMG is trying to hire 15 foreign accountants in downtown Toronto at $80,000+ each.
In four days, Mark Carney will let corporations hire high wage occupations from abroad without even trying to hire a Canadian first.
Toronto’s unemployment rate is sitting at 7% with youth unemployment at 17%. KPMG should be hiring and training Canadians, not getting a free pass to bypass local workers.
Something seriously wrong with Talarico
Bill Maher opens the floodgates when he asks, “Why?” James Talarico is a “very weird dude.”
Ted Cruz spends the next 2 full minutes going down the list.
Maher gives Talarico the benefit of the doubt until the “I really love trans children” quote drops.
Then he folds.
CRUZ: “I’m not going to convince you to love Ken Paxton. But you got to admit, Talarico, I think, is a very weird dude.”
MAHER: “Why?”
CRUZ: “Because he is like the ultimate woke social justice warrior. This is a guy who stands in front of a church... he says God is non-binary. He says there’s six genders. He stands in front of a church and says he weeps for his whiteness and weeps for his masculinity.”
MAHER: “That’s just weird. That is weird. I couldn’t agree with you more.”
KID ROCK: “Maybe he’s gay.”
MAHER: “What?”
KID ROCK: “Maybe he’s just gay.”
MAHER: “But why are we inferring — because he thinks Jesus is non-binary, which I don’t think he means as —”
[Kid Rock’s face isn’t buying a word of Maher’s explanation]
KID ROCK: “I know what he meant!”
MAHER: “What do you think he meant?”
KID ROCK: “Yeah, he’s trying to go into this whole ‘what’s a woman.’ Like, are we really talking about this 250 years later?”
MAHER: “No, I just think — look, I don’t know that much about it, but I have heard those quotes. I think what he meant by the Jesus is non-binary thing is that, you know, there are a lot of people who believe in God. I mean, your whole album is about Jesus, but in a more sort of ethereal way, more spiritual way. You know, he’s not the man in the sky with the beard, that kind of thing.”
CRUZ: “So Bill, all of these, he’s on video. He was asked, ‘Who do you really love?’ And his answer is, ‘Trans children.’ Well, I don’t know anyone else who would answer that question that way.”
MAHER: “Is that the full answer?”
CRUZ: “Yes, I promise you. You can pull up the video. He was asked, ‘Who do you really love?’ And he pauses and thinks and says, ‘I really love trans children.’ ... He also says on video that his objective is to, quote, ‘dismantle capitalism.’”
MAHER: “Look, I am not for any of that sh*t.”
CONTEXT: Talarico really did say it. On a 2023 podcast, he was asked what he loves other than family and friends, and his answer was the “trans children” who had rallied at the Texas Capitol the day before.

Mel Gibson paid Robert Downey Jr.'s insurance bond when no insurer would cover him. Eight years later, with Gibson's own career in ruins, Downey asked Hollywood to forgive him.
In 2003, Downey was coming off years of drug arrests, and no insurance company would cover him on a film set. Gibson, a producer on The Singing Detective, covered the insurance bond himself so Downey could play the lead.
Downey has said Gibson also told him not to give up hope and urged him to find his faith.
The only thing Gibson asked in return was that someday Downey help the next guy.
In 2006, Gibson was arrested in Malibu, and his own career collapsed.
In October 2011, Downey received the American Cinematheque Award and asked Gibson to present it. In the video below, Downey tells the room why he chose him. About that old favor, he says Gibson "didn't imagine the next guy would be him."
Then he urged Hollywood to forgive his friend.
Gibson later told Esquire it was "a bold and generous and kind gesture."
Did Downey owe Gibson that speech, or was it a risk nobody else in Hollywood was willing to take?

🚨BREAKING: Toronto Police identified DeJohn Richards in the violent home invasion that left a real estate CEO and two daughters shot — they interviewed him at the hospital, let him walk, and now he's on the run.
Police claim they must have reasonable probable grounds to hold a suspect—despite having a description of 3 black males in their early 20s.
Toronto Police's DEI policies drive this level of incompetence.

This Toronto Police presser about the Bridal Path home invasion is unreal.
- Cops meet suspect at hospital after he was shot during the home invasion
- Suspect still leaves hospital
- Won't admit prior interactions with police (despite that police have photo of him in jumpsuit)

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right?

This is a disaster….
The same guys who claimed a few days ago that Qwen open-weight models plant backdoors just took Canadian taxpayer money at a CAD $35.7B valuation.
Their Artificial Analysis score? 9.
Meanwhile, you have probably never heard of Motif Technologies, a Korean sovereign AI startup. They scored 47 on Artificial Analysis with Motif 3, and their valuation is CAD $136M.
Even MiniMax sits at CAD $10B.
AI is clearly an important technology, but way too much money is being burned on absolute garbage right now.
