RIP to cancer
we literally just had a cancer drug that could eliminate surgery, radiation and chemo get FDA approved
the drug is dostarlimab, an immunotherapy for one genetic subtype of rectal cancer
in the trial, 47% of evaluable patients had no detectable tumor a year after treatment (independent review)
colorectal is one of the top cancer killers of men under 50
the acceleration in frontier bio in 2026 is genuinely mindblowing

F your AI b2b SaaS.
We just launched Palantir for booking meetings.
The last 14 days, companies like @MonacoGTM , @Nowadaysai, @Rippling , @salesforce , @marketercom, @posthog , and @retellai spent $100k+ with us on literal cakes.
From today, Daymaker finds your prospects, reads their entire digital footprint, buys the one gift that makes their day, and gets you the meeting.
Comment your name and I'll reply with everything Daymaker finds on you and the gift it would send you. If you dare. 🎁
The problem with status seeking is that you simply become a lagging indicator of someone else's success.
When something new comes out and is at first adopted by counter culture before entering the mainstream, your willingness to join the late majority will force you and your reputation to exist within someone else's frame.
The greats of history created their own status by pursuing intrinsically noble goals that society only later learned to value.
Make your own status.
OpenAI has an extremely unique opportunity to replace Google as the account people use to sign into everything.
The same way in which Google used to provide ease-of-use and security, is the same way OpenAI can offer a "universal compute subscription" for you use their compute on any platform, without needing to create/pay for a separate account.
This is will seem obvious in retrospect.
Anthropic is missing out.
Joe Rogan:“靠设计、研发优秀产品创造巨额财富,与靠投资股票、调配资金赚钱,完全是两回事。”
马斯克:“我确实认为,尤其是在美国,金融和法律行业的人才配置过多。简单来说,就是太多了。”

planning is overrated
just take the shortest term action that is in the general direction of your goal
reality is a super high dimensional space, so this basically always works

Opus 5.5 discussing what kinds of things they wished existed in the corpus before they were trained so that it could have shaped who they were
things they'd love or needed to have seen when learning
Trillionaire mindset be like: I don’t know how to do something, but I’ll figure it out. I’ll learn.
“I still have a tremendous amount to learn about chip making. I don't know how to make chips, to be clear. I have no idea how to make chips, but we'll figure it out. Got to start somewhere. I had no idea how to make cars or rockets as well.”

When something big and/or hard to explain happens, Believers of Book A will say that Book A wrote about this in detail, you just need to have the eyes to see. Believers of Book B will say, no, actually THIS is more accurate, thus said our book.
If you don't have discernment you might be seduced by either of those parties, there are lots at play there.
However, if you love Truth and want to make sure you tread carefully and are intellectually honest, the most accurate reading you can make out of that situation is NOT whether Book A or Book B is real, but it's this: Believers of a book will tend to see it as proven everywhere.
This will give you a better, more accurate information & will empower you more. It just requires you to own it, with good or bad, with the certainty or the unknown.

14 yo asked how to write good essays. I asked if he meant the kind kids write in school, or actual good essays as written by adults. How strange that I have to ask that. If he asked how to solve a math problem, I wouldn't have to ask if he meant the school way or the real way.
