It's that time again. New workshop today (in a few hours) on kickstarting your socially driven business idea with data. Drop by! eventbrite.co.uk/e/kickstart…
I recently ran a workshop on "Validating Your Socially Driven Business Idea with Data". Here's the presentation for those curious: bit.ly/VYSDBIwD
I ran a great session for people trying to start a business with purpose yesterday thorough @CBL_London and they all wonderfully ended up being socially-driven business ideas (such as education, therapy, and circular economy) despite not having explicitly asked for them. [Thread]

Data doesn't have to be complicated and is only as valuable as its ability to help understand, prove, or solve a problem.

As founders, it's important to develop data literacy skills to help you create a human centric brand. This includes the ability to gather data, set realistic expectations for decisions, and be able to add to your overall narrative. Quantitative and qualitative both matter.
Listened to a great talk this morning by James Vincent (of FNDR) on the importance of human centric brands and values. His track record with brands such as @Apple, @Airbnb, @Snapchat shows that this is how building the value around what people want informs design.
