Dapr reached over 1 million SDK downloads per week! This is measured by combing the .NET, Python, Java, and JavaScript package statistics. So this does not even include other Dapr SDKs such as Go, Rust or PHP.
Thanks, everyone, for making Dapr a success! Let's build some reliable applications! 🚀

Dapr 1.19.0-rc.1 is now available for testing, and it introduces a stateful workflow worker stream that sends only new history events to the worker. The change is transparent to the SDKs.
The release candidate also moves the Placement service into the Scheduler service, so you have a single control plane service for actor placement, reminders, jobs, and workflows.
Feedback is most useful before the final release. Install the RC, run it against your apps, and tell the maintainers what you find on the Dapr Discord: diagrid.ws/dapr-discord
Install a specific Dapr version: docs.dapr.io/getting-started…

Check out my latest blog post about why per-action pricing is the most unfair customer pricing model for durable execution / workflow orchestration, especially for AI agents.

Debugging Dapr applications locally means inspecting multiple processes, monitoring log outputs, component files, and state stores.
The new free, open-source Diagrid Dev Dashboard gives you a live view of everything Dapr on your local machine:
- See apps, sidecars, components, actors, subscriptions, and more
- Inspect workflow executions and event history
- Terminate or purge stuck workflow instances
- Build components and resiliency policies in a UI
- Send test messages to verify subscriptions
It's a single binary with zero setup. Try it now: diagrid.io/dev-dashboard
There's a new dashboard for local Dapr development. It covers:
