Reminded that people can be awesome! Left my phone in a Vegas taxi last night. Tracked it to driver’s home. Knocked on his door. He answered, smiled, remembered me and my wife. Said, “Found your phone and kept it safe!” People can be (are) awesome!

Don’t make a large process change(s) with “going to gemba!” Gemba is the Japanese term for “actual place.” As a leader, you need to directly observe how the work is being done BEFORE making changes to a process or workflow.
