The WNBA decision to move game 6 of the finals to 12:30 PM Thursday will have an impact on its media coverage. USA Sports says that the game will not simulcast on CNBC, as its other games are (it will be during market hours). Instead it will simulcast on E! and Syfy.

Think about it — the game could last to 3pm AT LEAST. Then you’d do a trophy ceremony, interviews, celebration. Locker room champagne, media avails, pictures with the trophy etc all take HOURS For an 8pm NBA game, I’d show up as media at 5:30 OR 4ish if I’m on the broadcast ???
