Crazy scenes on the Thames this afternoon with a pod of 17 Pilot whales swimming west towards London. After 2 failed attempts I finally caught up with them at Gravesend in the early evening. Fingers crossed they can find their way back out to the sea.
8+ Queen of Spain Fritillaries seen at East Tilbury this morning - some fresher looking than others. 3 different individuals pictured.
