In college, I set out to understand the entire computing stack. Electrons -> Transistors -> Processors -> Assembly -> Compilers -> Languages -> Cloud In 2026, I'm doing it again for the AI stack.

This hit way differently in Austin where we all recognized that WeWork immediately 😂
My favorite visual gag in You Can See Everything is when Billy’s working inside a fancy looking office building and it cuts further out and it’s a WeWork

Occasionally, I think Grok Bot is overrated. Then I have it do a whole messy legal registration flow for my LLC and I'm back in love again.

The term "110% effort" really devalues actual effort estimation It's way more interesting to reason about what 80% vs 85% effort really means!

I'm enjoying Grok Bot, but Dot is much better at computer use. Grok keeps choking on websites that block AI-browsers, but Dots connects locally and handles them perfectly.

I know everyone's been building chief of staff bots for months now. I've been resisting, but I finally caved and gave Dots access to my email and... I get it now

I did it. I went to China. Here are my takeaways on what was better than the US, what was worse, and what was.... curious

Texas shattered its all-time demand record yesterday hitting 91 GW. Was there an energy shortage? Nope. There was a capacity SURPLUS of 20+ GW! If you want to see what Energy Abundance looks like in practice, Texas has it and it’s beautiful. Texas is the future.
Air conditioning demand in extreme Texas heat pushed the ERCOT grid beyond 91 gigawatts today. Before yesterday, we had never exceeded 86 GW so this record shatters the old one. Note there was >20 GW of buffer, no energy emergency, no conservation call. #txlege #txenergy 1/

I try ~75 new restaurants per year. I will happily provide food recommendations for any of my friends in Austin.

Lots of good options in Austin. It’s just that I can’t choose a place at random and be guaranteed that’s it’s gonna be above mid Like when I was looking for diner food for example, it’ll usually be mid at best unless I already know “the spot” Fwiw, your food recs have always been 🔥

Just got my Blueprint biomarker analysis back today. Going to feed it and all my other health data into Claude Code today. I'll be live tweeting the experience:

Maybe most helpful, I do have a (minor) family history condition that I need to keep an eye on. I feel more aware (and in control) of that today than I have before.

Overall, I'd highly recommend doing this. Both getting a panel and doing this analysis. I think the Blueprint panel gets the best data for the best price easily. Their interface and analysis is pretty lackluster though. This DIY analysis was MUCH better. blueprint.bryanjohnson.com/p…
