The Dash Bash is all about community! An event built around sharing ideas, stories, & insights to make us all better & our industry more inclusive. Why should you come to the next Bash? Don't take our word for it, just listen to what the 2023 attendees had to say #thedashbash2025
Always fun to see how these projects start and where they finish! For the full BTS experience, make sure to check out the full project featured on our website.

One last look at some of the behind-the-scenes work for the Civic Credit Union campaign we worked on last year. What was so impressive about these four videos was just how quickly it all came together - shout out to dash Producers, Meryn and Ashley who made it happen!
Throwing some fire your way this Monday evening with this KILLER dragon animation we worked on for Civic Credit Union. Maybe Daenerys Targaryen needs some animation help?

We made over 40+ cutdowns for our friends at Civic Credit Union for their latest "How-To" campaign and here's the 4K secret: build a massive 1x1 square that can be templatized to make alllll the cutdowns in different sizes you need! This trick saved us so much time.
Tommy Boy once said "I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's (whoooa), but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it!" Luckily we're not making steaks, so here's some behind the scenes of our latest animation project.

Last year we teamed up with our agency friends, Seez Today to build this series of how-to animations for Civic Credit Union. Here's a super cut of all the videos, but make sure to check out the full case study up on our site!

No need to bug out about any deadlines when you've got dash on board! Cheesy? Yes. Accurate? Also yes.
We don't want to toot our horn toot much, but we're incredibly proud to celebrate 11 years in business and we appreciate everyone's support over that time!
How do we feel about celebrating 11 years in the animation industry? We're floating in the clouds ;)
We wanted to create a system that allowed us to switch out copy and imagery with ease for ShareFile. Using After Effect's essential graphics panel was key in making this work - plus an incredible team of creatives whose ingenuity made this all possible!

It's all about empowering teams - whether it's our team or yours. Simplifying complexity and reducing project files to easily adjustable "essential graphics" panels allowed us to scale content quickly and efficiently.

How do you build content that scales without losing fidelity? Through containers that allowed us to change-out imagery and text so one video could become six!

Bianca Guimaraes, the Founding Partner & Executive Creative Director at Mischief @ No Fixed Address, says “Process doesn’t tell you how to behave when things get uncomfortable but principles do.” They anchor you in the ambiguity.

Here's a quick playback-recording from the game so you can get a vibe of the characters and environment in action. It's really fun to play, but be ye forewarned... it's tough! Link to the game is on the project page if you'd like to play.

Animation is a time consuming process, so to eliminate any ambiguity of creative intentions, we went through the entire list of assets for the game and began sketching and rendering frames for approval.

Style frame are still images that convey the overall look and feel of a project. Once we established the character-shape of Enzo and his side-kick, we needed to play around with some color studies to determine the overarching aesthetic of the whole game.

The gamification of content is real and we're here for it! McKinney reached out to dash to help illustrate and animate the look behind Money Magic: an indie video game that teaches students how to create and keep up with a personal budget. Here's some of the early character work.
So much fun developing this little guy! If you had to give them a name, what fits best for our little robot dog feeder?

Compositing is such an important part of creating a polished final project. Just take a look at all the details that went into the Red Hat Workloads campaign.

One of the many benefits of working with an animation team for live-action projects is our focus on post-production. Not only do we ensure we get all the coverage we need but we CAN also fix it in post ( just don't tell everyone ;)
