Assertions by decisions What would you say?
Decision based assertions... Why not? - Why (confidence: 95%) - Not (confidence: 5%) Take them to your e2e tests with Jev! Jev 1.14 can analyze screenshots so can quickly tell you whatever no assertion can: if page is totally broken or not

Test everything!
What about mobile testing? CodeceptJS has fresh alternative to Appium! Mobilewright is a new fresh mobile app testing engine and if you have CodeceptJS tests you can quickly switch to it with a minor code changes (all your mobile tests run on different engines!)

One e2e framework to rule them all
CodeceptJS is the only #e2e testing framework that can run same test accross different browser engines: - @playwrightweb - @webdriverio - @lightpanda_io - Moli - Obscura

Even we live in 'coding solved' era I still feel that developer need to spend like 2-3 nights walking around the problem before actually doing the implementation

A Legend of Corporate AI Transformation: Once there were gods. Gods gave mere employees Claude & Cursor, installed them, and taught them how to ask questions Then gods left, leaving the few commandments: to burn tokens for any questions and to use Sonnet (as it's cheaper) Amen

Any chance you host any decision model? They are already fast and cost effective so they are perfect match for Groq stack!

As far as I know Chrome usually take around 1G RAM from start. At least this metric is usually the baseline when you set up parallel testing. If you need tests in 16 threads at least 16G needed. Curious how many light browser can we spawn and on which cost

That's a wrap! I will write more on agentic testing Also the good part that all these 3 engines are availble in @CodeceptJS e2e testing framework, among with @playwrightweb and @webdriverio so you can run same test in different engines to find a perfect match!

Because of limited features support they use simulated browser events. I.e. initiated by JavaScript and not by real user event. They can send clicks to invisible elements and can't click by coordinates. Even engines with rendering (Obscura, Molly) are not render perfectly

Moli was the only one alternative engine that worked succesfully with rich text editors like Trix, TinyMCE, Monaco All engines come with their own binary which is both browser and playwright-cli like commands Lighpanda, Obscura, Moli also work over CDP protocol

3. Moli - true headless compared to Lightpanda + layout mode as in Obscura. The tradeoff - you need to do explicit call to do layout rendering whenever you need it. By default it skips rendering whenever possible. Fast and has good Chrome compatibility github.com/lexmount/moli

2. Lightpanda lightpanda.io Damn fast, truly headless, can't do screenshoting at all. But runs full JS engine so acts like a real browser. Use if you don't care of visibility checks but need to run fast through web pages
