Headline: Energy prices rise 4% @OctopusEnergy : gas was 6.89p/kWh, today it's 7.86p but we'll let you voluntarily switch to tarrifs at 8.13 or 8.74 That's an increase of 14%, not 4%, and the option to instead have an increase of 18% or 27% instead.

Last winter, during my highest usage months, gas was 5.95p for 3 months then 5.61p for 3 months. Average cost of actual usage for 6 months was 5.75p/kWh That means this year will be at least 37% more expensive, but more likely 41% more expensive if fixing to avoid risk.

2nd, it's raisins all the way. Expect the oloroso sherry to mask the spirit a bit.. but.. Not full term, but we don't know what it was before.. 48.6% ?? Didn't feel like it. 29yrs .. again. Didn't quite feel it. Plum. Raisins. Fig jam. Brown sugar. Dried fruit sweetness.
