its concerning how much gamers have a "the customer is always right" mentality, they will experience a game having even a little bit of challenge and friction and suddenly they demand EVERYTHING about the game to be changed so it can appeal to them

DMZ has already fallen into the Arc Raiders problem of "engaging with PvP is heavily frowned upon, despite it being an intended gameplay mechanic core to the mode"

I don’t get the constant complaints that DMZ needs more PvE or should be “more casual.”
This is the genre of the game. You’re looting, doing objectives, and trying to extract while other players can show up and kill you. That’s an extraction shooter. If you want a safe, pure PvE experience with no real danger of losing your stuff, there are plenty of story modes and co-op games for that. DMZ isn’t one of them.
Ratting is part of the game. If the game allows it, then play smarter check your corners, have some strategy, and don’t just blindly push forward. That’s literally part of an extraction shooter. High risk, high reward. Sometimes you get caught out and die. That’s the point.
DMZ is good the way it is. Stop trying to turn it into something it was never meant to be. If the risk bothers you that much, just play something else. It’s not that complicated.
Suck it. 🤣

Makes me really sad to see how people engage with with something that they don't particularly understand.
Jason is autistic, that doesn't absolve him of responsibility nor does it render him incapable of learning etiquette, but the problem is that these things are completely unintuitive. I'm on the spectrum to a lesser degree, and literally every single thing I do has to go through multiple layers of is this acceptable, how will others perceive this, have I learned anything from a previous interaction that I need to be considering, and that doesn't just "go away" it's a repetitive step I have to take for the rest of my life.
I can only imagine it's even worse for Jason, he lives with a caretaker; it doesn't matter that he's 37, this is a developmental disability he's going to live with for the rest of his life. That doesn't mean you should exonerate everything he does, but there's an extremely obvious line between informing someone that they need to reevaluate their actions and making them out to be a vile disgusting piece of shit.
Things that seem like common sense to you are just not to a lot of people on the spectrum, and that's nobody's fault but it's a fact of life. You don't dogpile on a kid to teach them, and unfortunately every new thing in his life needs to be treated that way, even if it's "obvious" to you. He's gotten infinitely better at taking accountability, this would've been no different. It looks like he needs to be in an environment where these things are accessibly learnable and clearly he hasn't had that in quite some time.
I hope those of you who are actually feeling animosity over this and aren't just dunking for internet points (fuck you if that is you) can put the same energy into researching how to manage a learning disability as you did to ousting someone that already got banned from the event, took an obvious financial hit, and is suffering immensely.
Made a post about my thoughts on things. Ngl im turning off replies cuz of the types of mean msgs many ppl sent me that i dont want to see or deal with. I wont be streaming or around for a while (maybe weeks idk). Thx for those who do care appreciate you

coney is genuinely such a loser when it comes to discussing anything, he just plants his flagpole at the top of whatever hill he feels like dying on then watches the numbers go up while he verbosely reiterates the same thing he decided to believe when he first got to the hill

People in the comments that support DCing is a self report and gives @DeadbyDaylight a solid good reason to increase the DC penalty to 10 min on the second offense.

The comments on this thread show how half of the player base doesn't want to put ANY effort into getting better and expects validation when they DC and ruin the game for everyone.

I genuinely think a lot of DBD's modern issues started when BHVR started (intentionally or not) supporting a group of players who genuinely don't like their game & quit at the most minor of inconveniences. No amount of in-game changes can convince these people to change.
kinda is a bit wild. I do understand having a predetermined path as a stunt driver does make sense. Just as much as it makes sense that Logan can sniff things out. Unfortunately we don't dualshock 12s with the haptic smell back so blue "farts" it is ykwim
