This is the absolute maximum effort I've ever made to dress up for Halloween in my adult life. About 15 years ago today.

Colored it.
Probable cover image for a new web comic.

It rains ten minutes for the first time in two months and fuckers break out the lawnmower like the grass is gonna overtake their house.

The show was not perfect, but for that "Joker" it was worth it. He needed a Batman and not just Gordon to bounce off of.
It is so funny to me that arguability the best live action joker, legally isn't joker.

True story I once cut a fly out of the air with a butcher knife & had a witness to me doing it. Didn't cut it in half or anything, but I swung at the fly & caught it with the edge of the blade. It landed dead on the table in front of me. Coworker saw the whole thing & said "whoa"

I will absolutely never forget the "whoa".

I'm getting off this app for the night simply because I'm tired of seeing political ads for Texas elections that don't concern me in the slightest.

Just after I made this reply I caught my dad watching some obviously full AI video about airplane rules or something. He knew it was AI but wanted to watch it anyway so I watched a little with him. Toward the end it got dramatic with the music...1/3
Replying to @Lombarsi
It's all over YouTube and X. Once you know what to look for it's easy to avoid. My dad was watching all kinds of AI written crap until I told him to look out for virtually everything in your post. He's more selective now.

And one of the characters was getting serious and said "but the most important thing to remember is..." and spoke the most broken English nonsense jumble of words you can imagine, deadpan as fuck. I don't know if that was intended, but it made me laugh my ass off. 2/3

It wasn't acknowledged or anything. Just gibberish treated as if it made sense. My dad was engrossed in this thing too & had to replay that bit to make sure it made absolutely no sense. The video & story sucked & was complete AI trash, but that part did make me laugh 3/3

Didn't know the name of the episode so I looked it up. "Genesis" season 7 episode 19 where the entire crew devolves.

I don't think I've been hit this hard by a celebrity death in a long while.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work. My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

Acadians that settled around Kaplan, LA, were part of Le Grand Dérangment, where the British expelled the native French-speaking Acadians from their homeland in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1755, because they refused to swear alliance to the British crown. They settled in this Attakapas and Vermilion in this Spanish-controlled region. The name "Acadian" evolved into "Cajun." Here are more photos from the Cajun museum in Kaplan.
